Good to see videos on things other than washing the outside Graeme. The serum looks like a great idea, well worth the try. As for the rotary brushes, the first one you used is also good for piles 😱😱
Those are some posh looking rubber mats👌 Great idea with Serum, I will have to try that on the Land Rover mats before i splash out on Gummifix from Koch. So important to get the right colour brushes here as well. I have the white and yellow ones and in most cases the the yellow dont come out as they are way too harsh
Thanks Andy , I’d maybe increase the dilution from 1:1 with Serum, maybe 4:1 (product) in a spray bottle might work well that way there’s no waste. 🤔 Regrets buying the yellow brushes?
Lovely little video Graeme, nice bit of variation from the norm, those car mats look brilliant and I dread to think how much they cost. 😱 I like using my drill brushes but always manage to splatter myself with either interior cleaner or metal polish when I'm doing the inside of the exhaust tips 😂 Keep up the good work sir 👍
The GT Serum looks great! I wonder if CarPro Perl would work, I have a litre bottle of that stuff but will have to check if its silicon based. Yes, the front mats now need some GT serum! Nice tip and a great result!
I’ve used them on the GT interior cleaner video on seats with a wet vac too, makes such a quick job of cleaning fabric but remember the colours are also coded for harshness
A little less foamy but if APC pro can clean tyres as well as it did those mats at 1:10 that’ll be a bargain. Your rubber mats are the fanciest ones I’ve ever seen, they deserve the Serum.
Fantastic video Graeme. Interesting results from both the tyre cleaner and APC. GT tyre smashed it with that finish. I do like GUF from Koch like Martin uses especially with its antislip properties.
@@GMDetails will see if I can't get something filmed this weekend. Just haven't actually got round to buying some new products to try out so kinda just waiting for waxstock to scoop some things up. Need to get a few bits and pieces for my camera too which I think will improve my videos.
Drill brushes make such a difference, trying to clean seats and mats by hand is a nightmare. Those rubber mats look class mate, did you get them as an optional extra or purchase them separate?
BMW supply carpet ones, really good ones too!, but no. Had to buy those ones , over £100 for the set, or the price of a Ford Fiesta diesel with knackered brakes 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@GMDetails 🤣🤣🤣, yeah I’ve just done my Mums X3 which had the BMW fitted car mats which were extremely easy to clean up, those rubber ones look great tho!
Great video again Graeme. Why is it the simplest ideas work. If GT tyre serum is a rubber conditioner then why can't it make your floor mats look like new. Will be trying that one out myself on my truck mats when I get my delivery of tyre serum 👍👍
Cheers Paul, yeah it’s trial and error with things isn’t it , there was quite a difference between the front & rear mats (scuffs etc) which tyre serum disguised so I’ll def keep using it on the mats in future, certainly be worth keeping a 50/50 mix in the truck for possibly a quick clean & refresh like a QD 🤔
I share it with a day driver so I can only have so much stuff in my bag. It gets everything thrown at it to keep it clean though, Koch Chemie ps for all the plastics, Autoglym fast glass and I've even used Demon shine tyre dressing (those tyres drink it).
@@GMDetails mins in no way in-depth atall tbh it was more of a case of a quick video , just to keep up the weekly posts 😂 busy with trying to get myself ready for waxstock 😂 so will be back on it again after waxstock 😂
Drill brushes are some of the handiest tools around - save so much time!!
You need to be careful tho mate, the harder bristled ones actually chew the carpets on a bmw 🥴

Do you still use the GT like thatbfor your mats, Graeme? I have the Koch stuff "guf", that is a decent product for sure.
Nah it was a wee experiment to see what it would be like, I’ve just bought guf myself so I’ll make a video comparing dash serum v guf v tyre serum 😅

Thanks Paul, oh you’ve just reminded me I also have the drill polishing balls for exhausts too 😅
Great video, might pick those up when I get round to buying a new drill :) Cheers

Carpro Perl diluted does yes but still has a slight slip to it

Thanks Ben, yeah I think I’ll get GUF anyway just to compare results , you’ve been quiet of late, when’s your next video due?

@@DetailBase nice one mate, looking forward to the new improvements 🙌🏻
I'd litterally be lost without mine there the best things ever invented lol 😂
You must have gone through a fair amount of them Dave

Glad you’re still trying to keep it good at least for your self 😅
I get some strange looks at daft o'clock in a services when on my break and I'm there with cloths cleaning away 🤔🤔😂😂
@@paulquickmire2379 be careful doing that in a services mate, VDSA catch you doing that they’ll have you for working on a rest break 🤦🏻♂️🥴

great minds think A like 😂 my video of cleaning car mats goes live shortly
No way!!, I’ll get that watched tonight 😅
