This should all go towards UK public sector to make ends meet ..
We send 50 million to India. Now we're going to send millions to Africa and Middle east.
From saving money on HS2
Would you have disagreed in helping Europe during Hitlers reign of terror? Innocent people being bombed and made homeless by a tyrant in Russia. You can't put a price on freedom.
@@strangemagic5502 We had treaty obligations in 1939 to come to aid of Poland etc. Don't try the humanitarian "price of freedom" bs with Ukraine. What about the freedom across world? Why haven't we intervened in all the African or Asian countries ruled by ruthless dictators across the decades?
All we've done regarding the Ukraine proxy war is prolong their defeat and reduce the quality of life of our own people.
Russia's military is stronger than when it is started.
The Russian economy barely blinked at our sanctions while ours tumbled with inflation and sky high energy costs.
The Wests military reputation is in tatters while Russia is developing and perfecting new styles of warfare that our enemies (China, Iran etc) are watching with baited breath.
@@Stringfellow-xo6do Yes we did have a treaty with Poland but there was no UN or NATO alliance back in 1939. Ukraine is part of Europe unlike the other problematic countries and right on our doorstep. What if Putin was unchallenged and invaded other countries in Europe and escalated more war, would you still be saying we shouldn't be involved. It is not BS trying to help innocent people who are being bullied by a tyrant. Bet you would have let Hitler continue rampaging and terrorising Europe. You can't put a price on freedom so deal with it.
Having 3 children whilst living in a £2000 1 bed apartment is like me trying to buy a Ferrari when all I have is on-street parking in Lambeth 😂
Yes having childeren and a ferrari are both luxuries that benefit society equally right? I mean who wants adults of working age in the future...?
@@skyrimnpchostile3572 exactly
Ferraris are much cheaper
Labour will look after state workers and immigrants and shaft the rest of us.
But we knew that before the election.
Teachers just don’t deserve it. I did all my GCSE’S by using RUclips. My school was one of the worst in the city and most of my peers didn’t get good exam results. However I did by simply teaching myself. This is my experience….
So tax payers in the private sector are going to have even more taken out of their pockets to pay for this
Brave private sector workers paying for lazy public sector workers as always
Pathetic are they blaming the Tories? I thought the whole point of these clowns coming in was to make things right. If Labour aren’t up to the job maybe they should hand back the reins to the Conservatives.
Im sorry but what is it about public sector workers that deserve more money when people with low paid jobs who are on near minimum wage such as factory workers, shop assistants etc who work ridiculous hours and strain their body to pay for their family and kids who pay national insurance to give more to these public sector workers that are getting worse and worse and thinking they have it hard. NHS workers are getting lazier as my they have let everyone down and have been disgraceful with helping my partners condition and the junior doctors make me sick holding signs saying £16 an hour is not enough for training, council workers who are making the roads worse, schools with terrible teachers etc. They should try and see what life hard working people have doing long hours and getting paid far less than public sector workers. When do we get a pay rise, you guys get enough, its disgusting.
I'm a civil servent. I had to have a wage increase to comply with the Living Wage. Not all government workers are rolling in money
Another type of job who is full of moaning people, living wage? You should get a reality check and see what hard earners get.

@@clive3490as a civil servant you get a huge pension and malingering pay (full sick pay) and you don't do enough to even deserve minimum wage at a staggering £11.44 ph
@@Michael-gl9qn No I don't get a huge pension, it's based on what I earn, just like yours. Sick pay only kicks in if I'm sick, and it only lasts 6 months. You don't even know what I do.
3 kids 🤔 where are the various fathers? Something about life choices
That equates to more tax
I bet the sick are going to suffer. Also no to raising the two kid cap ,
higher wages will push inflation up, causing the private sector to get poorer.
3 kids and you don't see the dad? And you now want others to pay for your kids.
What a fine person you must be - a cheerleader for the punishment of children because of your holier-than-thou judgement of their parents actions.
Pay everyone more not just mothers who have 3 kids
She earns 43 thousand a year, no wonder council tax is at second mortgage levels!
If you want more kids! Work harder
So don't have like 5 kids, easy.
Labour and tories all the same. Get it into your heads people please
Vote Reform. Vote headbanger. You know it makes sense.
Literally proving their difference with policies like this for ordinary people

@@friendgray1 We're you not around during the Kinnock, Blair, and, Brown years? Socialists will always tax the already poor into social deprivation, It's always been that way. Every post war period of Labour governance has been that of high taxation and uncontrolled public spending.

Conservative: cutting public sector wages

Keep the cap on two children .Why do these people not move to cheaper better parts of the country.
Cheaper parts of the country are often cheap because there's not much work

Why did we vote lab in
Because they are better than conservative
So sorry that I have paid all my life and it’s not enough to live on. As a poor pensioner I still have to work to make ends meet. Ask any public servants if they don’t have enough to live on in retirement

If we are a poor country and tories left us a mess why are Labour giving 84 million away people still going to food banks in uk charity starts at home
Oh great, so 40% tax payers like myself are about to get hammered, even though I have less disposable income than my single mum sister living on benefits in a council house. And all the people on 20% rate of tax will cheer as if we're all millionaires getting our just-desserts! Meanwhile, the millionaires who live off passive incomes rather than PAYE will continue evading their dues!
We who have worked and paid into the system are going to be offered vouchers in place of money, disgusting, foreigners should be paid in vouchers whove not paid into the system ,we are having money taken off us to fund foreigners ,its obvious all this has only vome sbout since all this immigration, and we all have to suffer because of it ,inhumane !!
Why have children when one cannot afford to? Is it fair to tax payers to pay for your child?
The public sector is paid from the public purse. Lets link their pay to GDP, MPs included, then the economic health of the nation will take priority to whoever is in government.
Great news. Maybe they can up my tax to 45% on an even lower threshold now to pay for this.
If the layers upon layers of middle management in the public sector were culled then maybe public services can be invested in rather than lining the pockets of huge swathes of people who don't work in real jobs. NHS, Police. Ambulance and Fire should all get this, the rest can dona running jump. Someone in the comments made reference to the DwP, do you know anyone who works in the DwP? I do and they'll tell you their day is made up of single tasks and 2hrs work in a 7hr day! Get the Argentinian president in to sort it.

40k and complaining wow
Net pay is likely more like £30k, or £2500 a month, and her rent is £2000. Doesn't leave much for bills, food, fuel clothing, kids' supplies... It's rough out there, man.
The mean wage doesn't represent what most nurses and doctors are paid. Many are paid not even 30k annually. The mean wage makes it look like they're paid amazingly, but that's because it takes into account the top earners, who do earn a high income. This massively misrepresents the actual average wage.
@@drcookiejar2004 yup, median wage would be a lot lower, and a better metric, as there are far more low earners than high earners.

Where is all this money coming from
So Labour are in power and I'm already looking at paying for it.
Labour trying to secure future votes. Pay rises on top of payrises. Shouldn't NHS have no waiting lists before pay rises? Central and local goverment should improve standard, meet targets in set time scales before pay rises. As pay is online with the private sector shouldn't they contribute to there pensions the same as everyone else????. Should there be bonus pay related to car parking fines etc?
Raising taxes, pension raises, borrowing national debit increase, sounds the same as old labour. The idiots that voted Labour are always the ones that get hit the most.
Keep the two child cap. I'm not paying for other peoples sprogs they can't afford.
Even I don't spend before earning money. That's illogical in medicine causes shock.
And in your case that will cause budget deficit. You spent already on Ukraine, on scrapping Rwanda scheme, on increasing payments, on amnesty.
Who does this apply to? Teachers and NHS? Does it also apply to police and fire etc?
Yes it does apply for teacher and NHS.
The new Chancellor Rachel Reeves has accused the Conservatives of running away, leaving her government with all the tough decisions- like public sector pay.
She has hinted that teachers and 1.3 million NHS staff might get the 5.5% above inflation pay rise that independent pay review bodies are said to have recommended.
Probably Fire and police too
When will you solve the bubble in which you brought us with the houses. We have reached the point where a couple works just so that they don't end up homeless with children. And Lendlord, fills his pockets with 💰 money.. THAT'S how child poverty will decrease!!
Guessed that the first thing they would do was give themselves and their own followers a pay rise, then tax the real workers inordinate amounts to foot the bill.
Bring it on, tax the rich until they squeak!
