57 years after Ellen Ripley had a close encounter with the reptilian alien creature from the first movie, she is called back, this time, to help a group of highly trained colonial marines fight off against the sinister extraterrestrials. But this time, the aliens have taken over a space colony on the moon LV-426. When the colonial marines are called upon to search the deserted space colony, they later find out that they are up against more than what they bargained for. Using specially modified machine guns and enough firepower, it's either fight or die as the space marines battle against the aliens. As the Marines do their best to defend themselves, Ripley must attempt to protect a young girl who is the sole survivor of the nearly wiped out space colony.

The subtitles are in the Dutch language of the Netherlands/Belgium.
Subtitles are added separately for the next film.
That was no longer the case with Aliens.
    Aliens was already completely done.
Starting over takes a lot of time, energy and money.

Unless you read the film as "the company knew what they were doing *the whole time(!)*," which I don't, it's more like he put on duty as a CO for what was supposed to be checking up on a broken transmitter and it turned out to be a literal alien invasion. He was in way over his head.

Another great last stand is Charles Dutton In the other aliens movie, another one is Bruce Lee in Chinese connection when he does the jump kick into the waiting police firing line, another is the final moment of the battle in the movie Glory when they're all standing there around the flag, another is in Johnny mnemonic when Henry Rollins fights Dolph lundgren's bad guy and his death is implied

@jainee4507 well to be fair the Alien was getting shot at point blank range, (while falling) In a very cramped area the Alien could not use its superior size and strength. Gorman didn't even hesitate. He waited a beat to hear for a reply when Hicks yelled for her, and when he didn't hear anything back, he didn't hesitate to tell Hicks to get out of of here and that he was going back for her. Also, one of the overlooked parts, I think, is that when he's out of ammo and sees that he's surrounded, he also doesn't hesitate to get the grenade out because he knows what needs to be done. One of the most memorable and heartfelt arcs in modern movies....

    What a kickass scene.
The officer that had lost his senses earlier finds his courage and returns to drag an injured Vasquez to safety only to be blocked by sure torture and death in the form of the Aliens.
All of the friction between the troops and their commander prior to this scene is rectified when Goerman uncaps a grenade while Vasquez lies injured in his lap.
Goerman looks almost shocked at his own instantaneous and brave decision to end both of the lives as he holds the grenade before him, unsure.
Vasquez seizes his hand in hers and pulls the explosive closer, giving the appearance of an embrace...
Altogether, one of my favorite movie scenes ever.
Vasquez, since the moment she appears in this movie, is portrayed as a hard woman, a warrior,
Yet this final act is very intimate.
Masterfully shot scene, it moves me to tears every time I see it, and I find their mutual end sad, yet very satisfying.

When Vasquez is attacked from above it dives into this disorienting section, while still playing the Films "motive"; da- daa- da- daaaa. When Gorman Returns, he drags her for a short time, and the driving escape drum Returns, just to be disrupted by the shocking Realization that the way is cut off. When they Decide to blow themselves up, the score is Heroic and tragic, until ut all stops, the explosion occurs and the Film as well as the score now focus solely on ripley, newt and hicks

Definitely one of the most BADASS Latinas to ever go down in movie history...
She was SO strong, fearless, and brave! 💪
It was Vasquez's smart thinking (by retaining ammo in the furnace zone) that ultimately SAVED many lives in the group.
But it was also her brash, overconfident actions that costed one of her teamate's lives (Pvt. Drake) and led to her own demise.
Can't really blame her cuz she was doing whatever she possibly can to help the others escape.
This is the kinda courageous woman that I would trust with my LIFE.
Had she paid more attention to Ripley's briefing earlier in the movie, she probably would've understood how to deal with the Xenomorphs better, and possibly could've escaped with the others at the end. 😞

It's probably worth noting Burke knew exactly what he was going to find based on what Ripley told him (aliens for $$$$$), so he probably hand picked inexperienced Gorman himself so he could assert himself over him and the operation. That plan went south when Hicks and Ripley took over once Gorman got bonked on the head though. Once he came about though, he in a very short amount of time made up for his past mistakes, and went out in a blaze of glory gaining the respect of the one marine that disliked him the most at first. Every character in this film was amazing.
