I love this sunscreen. I’m Asian with slightly tan skin and the shade is great. Compared to other brands like Elta MD, Cotz, cerave, MdSolarSciences, it has the best finish - Not super shiny.
Is this sunscreen more matte or glowing? Thanks😀

I use the timeless vit c. Its awesome! Around 20 bucks! I've been using it for 2 months now. I've definitely seen improvements in discoloration and skin texture. Awesome air tight packaging. I'll never spend more money on a vit c serum ever again! Completely recommend.

It's supposedly less runny than the original; not too glowy, not too mattifying.

Finally! I've been looking all over trying to find someone who uses the body sunscreen on their face. Do you feel like the body sunscreen slides around on your face or does it settle in more?
@@caitlinmorgan119 Me too! But when I didn't find one I decided to just go ahead and give it a try. Its face one is twice as expensive as the body sunscreen!
The body sunscreen is thicker in consistently but spreads well over my face. (I layer it over a light moisturizer). The finish is powdery matte.

I am India medium NC40-41 skin tone and have used this sunscreen upon recommendation by Dr.Vanita Rattan. I agree with you that it looks ashy and bit lighter on my skin. I am not rebuying this.
Oh, I have this sunscreen! I bought the 'bronze' tint as it was the only one available, it's a little too dark for me but I don't mind it, it gives a nice summer glow 🌟. However, I don't don't use it on my neck as it can stain your clothes.

I think this tinted sunscreen is more suited for fair skin. In Europe, brands make a lot of tinted chemical sunscreens for white people. Maybe a shade darker would suit you better. I love the velvety, glowy finish, though.
I tried this and I am light skin but yellow undertoned so this was too pink on me! What are your fav spfs? 😊
@@meganfc7094 I haven't tried many sunscreens but my current favourite is the Japanese Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV spf50+ (clear version). I also use the La-Roche Posay Anthelios Hydrating Cream spf50+ for hardcore situations outdoors, since the Canmake is not waterproof and I trust EU brands' high UVA protection better. I don't think this LRP sunscreen with new filters is available in the US. I've heard it's available in Mexico, though.
@@marconemeth9683 Oh nice! Yeah in Europe we have some great spfs! I love the SVR range of spf, ultraviolette and other Aussie spfs! I trust them now the most. La-Roche is great but their spfs always burn my skin with the high alcohol content 😭😂
I got this and the glow to mix with it since I have a more yellow skin tone. Alone I hate it. The color leaves a cast on me and it catches any little bit of dry skin. With a little of the glow added, I look like a metallic robot. I tried the glow alone just to see what it would look like and my child laughed for 5 minutes straight at how metallic I looked. Hideous.
That intro though 😂. Would the bronze or glow be any better?

I think you should try the glow formula. It's more suitable for indian fair skin. I am an Indian too.

I actually got this a couple weeks ago when it was on sale. I got the bronze and regular. The bronze is slightly too dark for my dark, Indian skin, but surprising the regular melts into the skin without leaving any case. This sunscreen seems that disappear into the skin faster than most of my other mineral sunscreens. I am thinking of mixing the bronze and this to achieve the perfect shade, but honestly this works as is! Maybe you needed to wait a little bit longer? I don’t wear moisturizer with it because initially I found it a bit too dewy. So now I layer my vitamin C serum, a few hydrating toners/essences, and skip the moisturizer. I add a layer of Skin Aqua Moisturizer Gel wait a few minutes and then add this. Perfect finish. The more I use it, the more I like it. Give it another try!
I use this sunscreen and I have yellow undertones so it is kind of pink on me and with reapplication it gets casty...I don’t mind the dewy look but it clings to dry skin and shows up up like wow! Spreads easily and blends well...just wish it was more yellow...they do have a glow with yellow undertones but I anticipate that it will be illuminating and I don’t want to look like I have highlighter all over my face...not willing to test it out for the price 😂
Can you review the Bare Republic Tinted Mineral Spf 30?
You need to give mineral sunscreens at least 10 min to soak and blend with your skin tone. If you noticed, as the video was progressing, the sunscreen began to blend better and better with your skin tone and became almost invisible.

Bisabolol is as nasty as its name sounds and it was probably that weird smell you noticed. It's one of those hidden fragrance ingredients, and it's why I avoid aquaphor, I just can't do fragrance :'( my eczema will not have it!
I saw some lip products by colorescience that have spf, and I know how you feel about vanicream... lol
