I love these videos!! they just have this real feel to them that has a very cinematic quality to them, I will say, when you talk to chat I get a little lost due to needing short answers so you can pay attention to your surroundings. If you think appropriate you should add chat to the videos unless its a choice to not take away from the video, I can understand that. idk if there a middle sweet spot but tbh chat is only looked at by me is when I need context otherwise they are not there at all if that helps.

Last time I played a PC game was MYST back in like ‘94 when I was 12.
Honestly in certain aspects it's cool, sit at the sofa and chill kinda thing. But assuming you get a good enough PC it genuinely is an upgrade and you might wonder why you took so long to change. You can still play on a controller if that's your jazz.... and.... console exclusives aren't really a thing anymore, games you buy will still be playable and have servers in 10 years on a PC, games are generally cheaper (Steam sale for instance), it can do other things beside game, there's so much amazing mod content and things for free. Also, you can stream a game from your PC to your TV and you can still do your sofa and chill with Elden ring or whatever.
Been watching a few DayZ vids during the years but have always stayed away because im 100% antisocial single player 😂… The closest i have come to online play ever is the dark zone in the Division, but very limited interactions there too (got killed a few times by rogues). As far as i’ve seen you cant play DayZ solo at all, but is there low populated servers you can choose? In that case i may give it a shot,the game seems very fun. Im on Xbox series X.
I'm on PS5, and play on Official servers with a little over 6k hrs. Yes, There's a handful of low pop servers, and we also have community servers which could maybe serve more to solo play, especially if you decide to own a server for yourself. But always know that if you don't actually own the server, your NEVER alone. No matter the number of people, you'll eventually see someone or someone will see you.
