My unassisted home birth video ➜ • Wow! My Unassisted Hom...
And me dancing through pregnancy ➜ • Dancing Pregnancy Time...
Hi there! My name is Genevieve Howland, aka Mama Natural, and I’m here with my 1 month old daughter Faith.
I’m so happy, I’ve got my little miracle baby here. But let me tell you, the journey to this pregnancy wasn’t exactly easy. It came after losses, discouragement, and setbacks…
    But ultimately, here we are!
In this video I’ll share the whole story of how I got here, in the hopes that my story will give others - maybe YOU - encouragement and hope.
    ...
My belly appeared so big I was thinking TWINS. They run in my family and I am an older mom.
We went to Chicago for a midwife conference and I made an appointment with the same midwives who delivered my other kids. I needed to get a peek at my womb to see if there were two sacks in there.
So I had a super quick ultrasound where the sonographer confirmed that there was just one baby in there.
And then, to my dismay, she said something that I’ll never forget. "I’m so sorry, baby has no heartbeat”
Turns out I had something called a missed miscarriage. It’s when the body still thinks it’s pregnant, even though the baby has died. That went on for 3 weeks.
I went through labor. I had contractions, back pain, it was something else. And that humbled me. Flattened me. Made me re-evaluate everything.
    ...
At the dawn of a new year, I completely surrendered the situation to God. I laid it down. I let it go.
God you’re gonna have to make it happen.
We were moving to a new rental right after Christmas so felt like a new beginning.
We celebrated the new year in our new home, just Michael and me and the kids. We danced, ate lobster, and toasted to a better year to come. My husband and I had some fun on new year’s day, if you know what I mean, under the awesome glow of a huge full moon.
Two weeks later, peed on a pregnancy test and got two pink lines.
I almost laughed when I saw the positive pregnancy test. Here we go again. The last time I’d bled had been with the miscarriage, so I hadn’t even had a regular cycle yet.
I wore this pregnancy loosely. I didn’t get too attached. One day at a time.
What I did know for sure was that this was the last time.
Slowly the weeks went by. First I got passed the dreaded 6 week mark, when most of my miscarriages occurred.
Then, I waited to see if my HCG numbers would double. They did, but not impressively so. God was teasing me...
Then I passed the 9 week mark, when I lost the baby in Chicago…
At 14 weeks, I went to the midwife for the first time. Was I really pregnant? Was this a missed miscarriage and I didn’t even know it? The doppler would tell us the answer.
    (insert footage)
Wow, was that a joyful sound!
But still, I wore it loosely. Surrendering it to God.
    Then I hit 16 weeks… 20 weeks.
    Time for the mid-pregnancy ultrasound.
    I was nervous. Scared.
    Miraculously, everything looked great.
Finally I announced the pregnancy. It felt scary, but it was time.
The rest of the pregnancy sailed on by. I did all the tests for gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, Group Strep B. All good. All strong. All healthy.
I went right up to my due date and past. Expectant and happy and also totally OVER being pregnant. But it still felt somewhat unreal.
But don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy. I was tired. I felt stretched more than my other two.. in more ways than one.
And it was emotionally challenging. Two years in the making, two years when many other things in my life were put on hold as I pursued this promise. I was so ready for completion. To close the chapter on our TTC-ing days.
I couldn’t truly believe it until my Faith became sight.
    ...

Hi there, and thank you so much for this video. I have just had my third miscarriage, I'm 41. I am also really fertile, I fall pregnant so quickly. I am so encouraged by this video and I just want to say thank you that you allowed the Lord to use your pain to help with someone's healing, because you don't even understand how much this testimony has helped me. My heart has been so broken, because last week I was in full labour as I miscarried and had the worst Dr visit afterwards. My faith is so ignited though, and I know I clearly heard the Lord when He said that I would have two more sons, I already have two daughters. So I press on through my pain. I praise through it, because my God is a faithful God. He is not a man that He should lie. He is the author and finisher of my faith and so I am filled with so much joy and peace that I almost want to shout from the rooftops about how amazing God is, because despite the 3 babies that I lost, who are safe in His arms, He is still a good Father. MY present pain, cannot compare to the coming joy, which I know the Lord has in store for me. So thank you for this video. May Yahweh bless you and family. May I please ask you to share what supplements you used. I could not access your link. PS 139. God bless.

I watched this video a few years ago when I was pregnant with my son, but I came back today because I needed to hear it again. My first pregnancy happened so easily, but this second one is taking so much longer and I've had two chemicals during the process. Like you, I feel a bit lost, and fear it might not happen. I'm 42 and at the end of my fertility and so afraid I waited too long. This video gives me a bit of comfort. ❤️

This story has brought me to tears. I had a missed miscarriage with my second as well and was so shocked. My faith was shaken. Not shaken really, but I was definitely left feeling confused. With this pregnancy I am also giving it to God, trying not to worry and be fearful, but part of me is also holding back being excited. Thank you for the reminder to KEEP THE FAITH. Congratulations on your baby and thank you for your story

What a beautiful testimony. Thank you for sharing. I had our last baby when I was 43. He was a big surprise for us, but we couldn't imagine life without him. He was born 5 months after my younger brother was killed. In a way I wonder if God gave our surprise son to us to soften the grief of loosing my brother. God bless your beautiful family!💓🙏

Wow. It may have been the Holy Spirit’s promptings but I had been following your weekly videos along with my pregnancy until I found out I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks (when I would have been 10.5 weeks); I stopped watching any pregnancy videos for two weeks until tonight when I got the random idea to search ‘mama natural miscarriage’ and this video popped up. It brought me so much solace and was exactly what I needed to hear as I’m finally starting to bleed after almost 4 weeks past my baby’s last heartbeat (this was my first pregnancy at 33 and now just turned 34 the day before we found out our baby’s heart stopped beating). I had a small inkling you were a Christian from your weekly pregnancy videos I had watched but this one obviously confirmed it. It brought me so much joy to know that you’re a sister in Christ and walked this path I’m walking down now also clinging to Jesus. What’s more, I’m also originally from Chicago (and just learned in this video you are too) and moved down south (me to TN). Thank you thank you for sharing your story. Your video gave me a much needed boost of hope 💕 So happy for your family and your baby Faith ❤

Thank you for sharing your amazing story. I’m going through 2nd miscarriage in a year since being remarried and having my 1 year old son in summer of 2020. I specifically asked God for another baby (instead of what I typically do which is praying for His will and not my own) and got pregnant the same month. Then, my baby’s hb stopped at 6 weeks but I carried it for 12 and had all the pregnancy symptoms. I could relate to your feelings surrounding your missed miscarriage so much. I too came up with reasons that everything may have been okay: “the days were just off and that’s why it’s only at 6 weeks.” then after 10 week scan showed same measurement... “it was a vanishing twin they are seeing, my healthy baby was just hidden.” But I have finally come to terms after the miscarriage symptoms have finally begun 2 days ago. Your video was so well put together; it was quite fun to watch even though you talked about likely the most painful experiences of your life. It warmed my heart and gave me hope! God Bless you and your beautiful family💗

I just watched this back - I watched it when you first released it too. Can’t believe Faith will be 5 this Fall, right? I think she was born right around when my first daughter was.
We went through years of infertility and loss but God gave us a promise that we clung onto. The supernatural peace you described and also the way He speaks so directly is so relatable.
Anyway, here we are with four babies, when doctors said we wouldn’t even have one! All things are possible with our God of creative miracles!

I live in a little village in Norway and the norm here is 3 kids. However, after numerous losses, I am now pregnant with our 4th at 43. Haven't had any appointments yet (only week 7) but it's been a difficult journey. My last miscarriage was a year ago and we struggled getting pregnant. What helped me was going keto, as in cutting out carbs and sugar.

Just lost our 3rd baby at 12 weeks, previously had 2 very normal pregnancies. It’s so disorienting. I asked god why did I get pregnant if this baby was not supposed to be born, and I heard so clearly ‘that’s not why they were there.’ Throughout the morning I kept asking why, and came across a sermon stating if you are asking god why/when/how, sometimes the answer is ‘it’s not for you to know’. I take that as my answer. There’s a bigger plan. But I do feel like someone is missing still.

I am surprised that there is no mention of testing for Downs Syndrome in your video. I understand you are a woman of faith so I am presuming that your faith would lead you to accept a DS child. My daughter (40) had IVF and had the embryos tested. She had chromosomes abnormalities in 13, 14, 16, 18, 21, and 45. She did have 2 normal embryos a boy and a girl out of 28 eggs retrieved . She is now 33 weeks pregnant. If she had gotten pregnant naturally so many things could have gone wrong with trisomy and monosomy at her age. I have idea what testing you had done but you are very fortunate. At your age there are so many issues and I feel you should have talked about that. It is not a walk in the park like it would have been in a woman’s 20’s or 30’s. I am in joy for you and your family. I have watched all your videos as my daughter has progressed. Future grandmother

@llwil2003 You are right about that, The chromosome issue is very real. You don’t have to be 40 to get that problem. Many young women below 35 did IVF and ended up with lots of abnormal embryos. She is very lucky and blessed. So people should not look at lucky people like her and think everyone will be same as. That is why I think people should look at the scientific research and data from those research, not from a lucky person.

Your second miscarriage was my first pregnancy and miscarriage ever and it was the craziest moment. The Lord connected me with a midwife who is also a believer and she walked me through every moment and told me to praise the Lord for every step of my body delivering my baby.
I commented in some videos a few weeks ago because I had found out I was pregnant again after healing from my first miscarriage.
So I didn’t think a second miscarriage would ever happen, I was feeling symptoms but they were just very mild and I just thought because it was a different pregnancy my body was just reacting differently with the second pregnancy.
I was about to be 6 weeks and I went to the bathroom and wiped and had a faint pink spotting.
I’m just praying the Lord miraculously touches me and blesses my husband and I with our baby.
In His timing, in His way, we’re just surrendered to His timing in this all.
Thank you so much for sharing your testimony and just your faith in the Lord! I love all your videos and even more so now! Thank you for this platform and just being obedient to make these videos for all us other mamas going through these times. ❤️

Sadly, loss has been a part of my journey. I recently suffered a miscarriage. This would be my 2nd miscarriage. It’s a pain that I wish upon no one. I had gone to my first appt and was so happy to have heard my baby’s heartbeat and was so happy! On my second visit my doctor informed me that there was no longer a heartbeat and it was right there and then my whole world fell apart. I’m an older woman over 40. I’ve been blessed to have at least one child who I truly believe is my miracle baby, but deep in my heart I would have loved to have another child. I pray that God is able to give me the strength to accept what I cannot have and the courage to continue moving forward.

I had the same experience. I got pregnant on the first try 3 times. My 2nd was a missed miscarriage. My body just wouldn't let go. I had to take medication because being pregnant with my dead child was causing my mental state to degrade. This 3rd pregnancy is scary but going well so far. 10wks in.

Girl I am sitting here crying my eyes out don't ask me what brought me to your actual channel...I always type the weeks I am pregnant and u ways the 1st video that I type anyway tonight GOD brought me to your channel to hear your testimony....so I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 26 and I thought it was absolutely no hope for children without metformin etc I decided not to take it and said if it was meant to happen than it will on its own ....fast forward I get pregnant with my very 1st baby didn't even know I was pregnant until the miscarriage I was so upset with GOD "why would u let me get pregnant for me to have a miscarriage" ? but when I calmed down off of my emotions I say LORD I got your message...and the message was I can conceive without any medicine 7 months later I was pregnant again with my daughter and I could remember googling etopic pregnancy because my sides were killing me when it was time to do my ultrasound and I saw all the other pregnant bellies walking past me I dreading to walk into the Sono office thinking I know they will give me devastating news ....the whole time I got tech was performing the sonogram she wasn't saying anything so I had more anxiety..I never one time looked on the screen to see if it was a baby until she was done ...when I saw a baby and she gave me pictures I knew my daughter would come forth into the world ....she is now 3 years old and her name is A'moura (meaning love)
When she turned 2 I was pregnant again have a chemical miscarriage I was crying yet again lord I wanted the baby etc but I also said hey I'm content with my daughter if I never have another child I'm ok with it infact I weren't even trying for another baby (but if u wanna make GOD laugh tell him your plans) 10 months later I am now 21 weeks pregnant with baby JOURNEY who I never even saw in my future I love her already I'm so nervous ecstatic and cannot believe the Lord blessed me once again .....your story is absolutely remarkable your FAITH was tested and that's basically what the Lord said I will give u faith but 1st I will test yours once u past the lord's test he gave u a TESTIMONY and he gave you your FAITH thanks for sharing what a beautiful beautiful story I am so grateful for this confirmation ....and I will purchase your book I feel so connected to u GOD IS SO WONDERFUL , MERCIFUL AND FULL OF LOVE GOD BLESS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss ♥️♥️♥️ miscarriages are very unfortunately common and many times there is not a definitive cause. Most doctors will tell you that you don’t have to wait to attempt pregnancy again, but if you’re concerned it’s always wise to discuss with your doctor first ♥️♥️♥️

@@heyell9407 I’m okay, we’re okay - hubby and I - the first day was very hard, we got home from the hospital at 4am and cried together in the bathroom as we changed into our PJs - we slept til 11am that following morning and as the day went on there were bouts of tears but I think we are slowly accepting it knowing we will see our baby boy again (I was 8 weeks but I know in my heart it was a boy)

My last child is middle named Faith … but I’ve been getting the name Hope for my next child please say my name and Hopes in prayer as I go on to continue this journey for Hope after this miscarriage completes 😢.. I was 41 when I was pregnant with my second. It had downs syndrome so I aborted. I couldn't get an appointment for the procedure until I was 17.5 weeks. It's hard to feel like trying again when your friends and family treat you like a killer who was selfish for trying to make her life easier. I don't mind pain or hard work but raising a sick child is not in the cards for me. I'm now 42 but not religious and can't find a "sign" that it's OK to try for a second. I am still looking for a sign as I can't do this without major faith.

My daughter was 40 and did IVF and had abnormal chromosomes in 13, 14, 16, 18, 21, and 45 chromosomes. I am so glad her eggs were tested and she has 2 normal embryos a boy and a girl. She is now 33 weeks pregnant and I am so glad she did not try and get pregnant naturally. There were too many abnormal eggs 10 out of 12. You did the right thing for you and your family. I've never heard a man really want a kid,...especially in his mid 40's and already has two.
    I'm 1000% sure "we" was really her/me.
