I'm just going to say that this is probably the most informative thing I've seen over the internet. Not only did it answer a lot of questions and divide into two preferable bests. It was literally a soak in of valid points, detailed defense, clear scores, reasons, functions and etc of nothing but what I wanted to see. Something that even a conversation amongst friends about common interests or talk at the dinner table could accomplish.

@@vile1009 I’ve seen side by side with the lumia 950 vs the iPhone 12. It wasn’t really much difference in some photos. The 1020 was rated a better camera vs the 950. Lumia cameras were ahead of its time.

41 megapixels on the Nokia? I bet my 18mp DSLR will take better pictures... Megapixels don't matter that much in terms of quality, I mean look at the iphone, great pictures (in broad daylight that is) with only 8mp..

Actually, mp do matter in terms of sharpness and detail. Also if you zoom into the pictures of the iPhone, they won't be as sharp compared to zooming into a picture on the 1020.
***** Once again, I can guarantee you the 18mp on my DSLR will create sharper images even when zooming in. Just because you have 41 megapixels, doesn't mean that each pixel is being utilized to it's potential like on a dslr.
Yeah the only thing that I see when nokia boasts about 41 megapixels is larger file sizes which for a phone with limited storage is pretty much a horrible idea. Idk if it was a great camera good but the rest of the phone is meh. Still nothing will replace a dslr.
Obox2550 yea smartguy, have you seen the size of your lens on your dslr? that's what makes it better, the nokia actually uses 39 of it's 41 mp so that aint it's problem either, it just takes the best pics of all these phones, but the auto mode sucks ;( that's the real problem

I love the camera on my note 3.. just amazing and especially the 4k recording.... it's off the charts, just flat out gorgeous .... best phone of 2013, no other phone compares right now

My G2 is better. I don't have Lagwiz on my phone. G2 never crahses or lags like Sammy's touchwiz.
My note 3 never lags and I dont even use touchwiz, I use the nova launcher which runs perfectly on my note 3... and my friend has the g2 and I seen how slow the camera is on that phone lol definition of Lag ..

The key element you missed on in this comparison is low light performance. I believe that if you factored low light in, Lumia would definitely move up to #1, Note 3 would probably drop a spot or two, and the G2 might move up a spot or two.

I'm watching this with an iPhone 6s Plus. This camera is crazy.
Eh it's ok. only a 2.2 aperture and that means terrible low light. s6 s7 g4 g5 and v10 all have 1.9 1.8 or 1.7 apertures. HOWEVER IPHONE HAS AMAZING SLOMO

Dzung Huynh I currently have the Xperia Z so im speaking behalf of my phone. The pictures are very very grainy and even on a bright beautiful day the pics would look muggy (its even worse when it comes to rainy days). This is because the phones process the hell out of the pictures losing individual pixel detail to get in theory a better full picture, but in actual fact this just leads to the pictures basically incapable of any digital zooming,otherwise it'll look blurry. Colours aren't very rich either, the processing may be the reason but im not sure about that. The Z1 was basically a ""fix"" to all the problems with the Z, now the Z2 should pretty much do the same for Z1 and you get the drift. I've always owned Sony (Erricson) phones all my life (apart from the early nokias) but I will do my very best to stear clear of Sony for now. Their Bi-yearly releases makes Apples buisness model look good.
