As someone with autism pain and fear are very complicated emotions to me and I don't know how to word them. So I paint them. So my self portraits are me in pain, or me in fear. My paintings will be shown to whoever I feel most comfortable with showing them to, friends family sometimes on display in certain places for a while. But then it's not long before I take them back take them down, when am feeling better and destroy them. Smash, tare them, burn them. Whatever. It's how I beat and get over these emotions.
