In this video, I was not prepared for how amazing MOTIONLESS IN WHITE is. I went into it not knowing what to expect and I was blown away! If you're a fan of the band, then you need to watch this video!
This is my reaction to my first time watching *MOTIONLESS IN WHITE*, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. If you've never seen the band before, then I strongly recommend you check them out! They're an amazing live act and this video will show you why!
MIW is one of those bands where even when the sound is completely new for them, you still know it's MIW right away
Another fun fact about this track’s meaning is that it came from Chris’ therapy sessions. He and his therapist dubbed his aggressive side that he’s tried to shed for years, the side of his personality that he struggles with, the “werewolf”. And they named it that because of his love for Halloween and all things spooky.
Whaaat but Chris is such a sweetheart he doesn’t seem aggressive at all. But this song is relatable a bit since the past of this year 2022, was not my year. I would start drama and assume things that weren’t true, ruining my friendships and relationships and stop eating too. Just glad I’m slowly getting back to my old self again and MIW and both bands have been helping me. But listening to this song again I can hear Chris is basically talking about his werewolf side and how we all have one. It’s a great Halloween song and a song to jam to when you’re going through a lot.
all the interviews ive seen where he talks about werewolf not once did he come close to saying anything like this. where do you get your info?

There is LITERALLY nothing in the world I love more than overdramatic, theatrical music productions. MIW, MCR, Falling in Reverse, Queen.

I just saw these guys live for the first time earlier this month at The Aftershock festival, they rocked. They sounded awesome, the energy was to the roof, and the pit was crazy. There was a guy who had a his 4 year old son on his shoulders while he was moshing, it was amazing
Motionless is probably in my top 5 for favorite bands. Especially in this generation. If we go back several albums you would find them stuck in a sound but ever since he did the song voices I think he completely changed his attitude and goals with his music. Chris made voices and it reached out and touched many people and inspired them. He then set out not to be a shock rock Manson fan with an edge but instead to be the guy others want to be. No longer the alternative to another band but rather the band that others want to emulate and be the alternative for. Because his older stuff definitely takes inspiration from others like Manson but his newer stuff is just him being true to himself and it comes out impressively.
Yo, I'm always loving how you go in depth with your commentary, it's not dry like a lot of other reactions. High key, motionless in white is a little bit of an underrated band, but that's just my opinion
Imagine if falling in reverse made a collab with them, i feel like what would come next would be awesome

Going through alot right now and this made me feel better so ty Alex for always making my day brighter. Motionless in white is such an amazing band. Right now I'm feeling like a burden to everyone. I was also assaulted yesterday leaving dollar general so now I'm afraid to leave my apt. Music is my life it's helped me through so much and miw is one of my fav bands along with FIR bvb and many others. If i didn't have music in my life i don't think I'd still be here. I'm gonna have this song on repeat for awhile and the reference to MJ was awesome.
Really love listening to MIW. Originally from Scranton and had the pleasure to watch and listen to them in the beginning. Got to met them on a few occasions, with original drummer Angelo Parente. Great musicians. Great people.

MIW is so special man, like you said. They are the golden standard for me as far as what makes a band their own.

The first time I heard MIW I knew they were going to be my new favorite band of all time, they always surprise me with each album and I love it because that's what music is all about and being in a band is all about 🤘😎🤘
I love that some fans got to be extras in this music video. This new album of theirs is fucking great it’s been on repeat for months I see them in 2 weeks and I can’t wait!!
To be honest, the song wasn't one of my favorites at first, but I like it more and more the more I listen to it. But the video, man, this video is one of my favorite music videos ever created. Period. So freaking cool. I'm a total sucker for Halloween.

So glad I’m not the only one who got the Michael Jackson vibes! 1st with the red jackets, then at 2:52 “Somebody’s watching me” was Michael Jackson’s line in Rockwell’s 1984 hit “Somebody’s Watching Me.” But all in a good nod to a Thriller-like video.

For some reason... I wanna hear Motionless In White do a cover of Shot In The Dark or Mr. Crowley by Ozzy. After hearing this song, I'd love to hear how they'd recreate one of those. I'm not a HUGE HUGE Motionless In White fan, although yes, I do like them. But this song is really good for one of their softer singles especially. It's very thematic and schematic which I truly dig. It's not just a song, but it's actual entertainment wrapped within entertainment for the ears, and the eyes, if you choose to watch the music video. But just hearing them is more than enough to capture essentially what this band is all about and what they're trying to do and bring to the listener.

I think it's great that I've never heard a bad song or seen a bad music video from MIW. theyt make nothing but awesome music and I love that about them.

I agree the entire album is art. There was so many ode’s to Michael Jackson. I absolutely love this band. Motionless in White in my eyes is an iconic band. The way they do everything is just art.
