I will show you how I use the best caramel apple recipe that will keep your caramel soft and chewy, but yet firm enough to dip into chocolate. Yes, I will show you how I make caramel apples dipped in chocolate and pecans too with the 1st video below.
My candy apple cleaning method requires:
¼ cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons baking soda
1 tablespoon salt.
Bring the water to a boil. Dip your Granny Smith apples in the boiling candy apple method for six seconds. This is what makes a good candy apple while your apple stays crisp underneath the candy.

Hi! How much do you charge for these?
Are you asking about the sliced apples?
@@DIYQUEENDIVA yes
Ok. I usually just make these for our household and family events. I don't sell these or candied grapes due to the breakdown. But if I was going to sell them I would probably do about $25+ per dozen depending on what they ask to put on them. I hope this helps you.
Wonderful recipe love it
Pretty neat!
Thank you so much!💕
I love it I will use it for my son birthday party 😁
Thank you so much! Have fun!💕
Yes girl
Thank you I love you lol 🥰🤟
I 💓 y'all too!
Great
You're so welcome.
Hi. I love all the info you give!! Thank you so much. I'm selling my first candy & Caramel apples at a Christmas Market. Im packaging them in boxes like you do, my question is should I offer to cut them for people? Or just sell them the apples. Any advice appreciated. I love your recipes!!!
Personally, I would just sell the apples. If you want to go that extra mile, you can ask them if they would like their apples cut. This might be great for your older customers.
❤
Hi, newbie here. Just found your channel! You make these look so good and easy!
Question: after making these, how long could they stay out of the refrigerator when sitting out to sale? Thank you!
Hi! When I make them we usually eat them up…lol. These will breakdown faster because it’s cut opened fruit. You want to sell these right away if possible. See if you can find a portable tiny refrigerator on Amazon to keep them cool so they won’t breakdown as fast if you’re attending an event. I hope this helps you.💕
I’m baaaaccckkkkk I am so
Glad you did this video. I always burn my Carmel
😂😂😂😂 Don't be trying to take breaks. You better get someone else in the kitchen and stir.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA lol I don’t trust nobody in my kitchen but me 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I heard that!
Do you think Carmel can cover the sliced apples and stay fresh in the fridge for a day?? (With lemon juice and soaked before hand of course) ALSO, can these be served at a party with the Carmel dip in a crock pot that way people can use the sliced apples and self serve? :)
It's best to dip your sliced apples in chocolate and then caramel. Using a crockpot to dip sliced apples in caramel sounds like a good idea. 💕
Look delicious 🤤 how do you store them?
Since they are sliced, you can put them in the refrigerator.
Thank you 😊
You're so welcome.
Miss Diva of candy apples can I use light Karo syrup
Of course. I use that all the time.
Hi, after cleaning your apples where do you put them while you are making the Carmel?
Just let them sit on your kitchen counter on parchment paper. Have you watched how I clean the apples first?
@@DIYQUEENDIVA Yes, in this video I did, unless you have a different video just on that I haven't.
You're good. They are all the same with lemon juice, baking soda, and salt. Here's my tv series of a few as well:

Hi there do you also use oil in almond bark
Yes
Hi diva can you make a s’mores candy apple
I'll make them on the apple slices as well this weekend.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA thank you thank you
I think I can slide one whole apple in and show you....lol.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA yassss diva
how many apples does this caramel recipe make?
A dozen if they are the apples in the bag. I usually get mine from Walmart.
How do you cover apple slices with caramel only, that doesn't slide off the apple slices?
Try drying the apple completely with paper towels which will be hard to do since the apples are cut exposing the apple juice.
Oh ok thanks.
You're so welcome.
How much would these sell for ?
Hello. How would I package the sliced apples for selling? Thanking you in advance.
Put them in a clear container. You’re so welcome.💕
Sorry, I forgot to ask. Would they be okay in a cellophane bag to sell individually?
They will be okay if you are using only chocolate, but if you are putting caramel on them they will probably stick to the bag. Are you selling them individually, by the dozen, etc.?
@@DIYQUEENDIVA I was thinking individually.
I'll look around my Amazon bake shop and see what I can find. Will these be with both chocolate and caramel? On a stick?
Does the lemon juice dip flavor it much? Will water with some lemon juice work?
The lemon juice doesn’t change the flavor at all. Real lemon juice or squeezed lemons will work.
