The mint cow looked wonderful and can I ask what pattern it was I really want to make a cow but when I look at all the patterns available I just get really confused about the look I want. Thank you!! I use a variety of different velvet yarn. I use bernat blanket, bernat velvet, sweet snuggles lite, HiMALAYA dolphin yarn, and chenille home slim.
Hi! Thank you so much for watching! I have not written patterns of my own, I buy a lot of patterns and crochet from them. Many I combine two different patterns. The fox lovey is a combination of patterns from thecosystitch and mamamademinis. The bear lovey is two different patterns, but both from mamamademinis. It's the ever bear lovey, and then I purchased their blankie body modification for their loveys. The mini opossum is a free pattern off of instagram from rumble_crochet.
Where did you find your wooden crates, stacked books and basket display? Are they all Hobby Lobby as well? The ones i have found have been very expensive.
I buy my wooden crates from Michael's when they're on sale! Usually they're $15 but on sale are $10 and I also use my teacher discount or will wait until I have rewards to take off the total. The basket display for the loveys is from Marshall's 🥰
As a buyer at craft shows, for cash purchases, it makes it a lot easier for me if the prices include sales tax. i.e. item you want to charge 8.50 for you round up to 9 dollars. Even numbers and I don't have to worry about change. If it's card only/venmo, I don't see the issue with additional sales tax. For cash it is just annoying. As a seller, I also prefer to just include the sales tax into my price (but only whole numbers, no decimals). That is just what is easiest for me, but whatever works for you is obviously fine!!
Thanks so much for your input. I know it's tedious, but I'm selling at different markets in different counties and not all of the counties have the same sales rate. Some are high and some are lower, so charging the sales tax that's for that specific county in addition to the costs makes it so that I'm not losing out on sales to pay the difference.
