    I'm going for one day and I am really having a hard time in picking which park to visit! So excited though.

    Great video, we were surprised at the result but it makes sense with the justifications! Also great choice of categories for the comparisons ;)

    I felt bad for first timers who are visiting Tokyo Disney post pandemic. DisneySea’s entertainment was literally like an attraction! My last visit was 2006, and The Legend of Mythica was an unmatched experience!!

      I never got to see Legend of Mythica but from videos it looks UNBELIEVABLE.
      I want them to bring it back as a nighttime show 🤩

    I have heard that there are more dancers and scenes in Mickey's musical magic world, and characters are walking down the stage to greet the audience recently.I really hope the original Big Band Beat would come back someday🥲

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  6 месяцев назад

      That’s right! It suddenly premiered its non-covid version last week! I’m more sceptical about Big Band Beat though as it requires a lot of foreign performers and I just feel like that’s an expense that OLC aren’t willing to fork out for right now. A man can dream though!

    I completely agree! As great as Tokyo DisneySea is, Tokyo Disneyland is my preferred park of the two. TDS wins for design, but TDL wins for attractions and atmosphere.

    Going to Tokyo in June to see our son and daughter-in-law who live there. We are all huge Disney fans (they had season ticket to WDW when they lived in Orlando). They haven't been yet so we are very excited to experience it together!!

      That will be amazing! My mum is coming to visit her son (me!) and daughter-in-law this summer too so I know how special those times are.
      I hope you have a wonderful time with your family!

    I was honestly hoping for those cool daytime harbor shows to return with the Dreaming of Fantasy Springs event, but from the footage of the rehearsals captured by Miracosta guests, it's unfortunately going to follow the same single-barge setup the recent harbor "greetings" use. Since Magical Music World is finally in its non-covid version, it could be possible that a bunch of the DisneySea shows could return too (hopefully).

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah they said the new Harbour Greeting would use 3 boats so I was excited about that but 2 of them are just repurposed Transit Steamer Line boats 😓

    even though I prefer DisneySea, everytime I go for my 3 night stay, we always do Land - Sea -Land, because of my kids... except for this summer for FantasySprings we are doing Sea - Land - Sea for the first time.

      @8bitthemepark  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah we definitely do land more with our daughter. Hopefully Fantasy Springs balances things out a bit more though as I love spending time at DisneySea!

    TDL is my favorite park, it just feels so well made and perfect for a Disney trip. TDS just doesn't feel much like a Disney park to me, it when I walk into TDS it almost felt like Universal because things like volcanos are just not something I would expect at a Disney park. I don't get why influencers like WDWNT have an OMG JAPAN kind of view with Tokyo Disney. At the end of the day, it's just a Disney park, in a country with different customs.
    Also as someone who can speak and understand Japanese, it kind of amazes me that people don't think TDR doesn't have English issues. I can pretty much guarantee that if they had a complex issue, they would be in a pickle since I've seen barely any cast members that can speak English. I also feel like the park is just so much more enjoyable if you can understand Japanese, and there's an aspect that you miss by not knowing Japanese. There's places that play some voice lines only in Japanese, and it's awesome to see those subtle changes that don't exist in other parks. Being able to do fortress explorations without google translate just feels so much more enjoyable as well.

      Enjoying the parks on a deeper level is a big motivation in my Japanese studies! I actually went through some of the rides line by line as a learning exercise haha! Yeah I think the vast majority of people only need to know where the toilets are or how long the queue is so they don’t run into too many problems, I would hate to have an emergency situation with the language barrier though…

    I would go to both, as I would be traveling from the United States and I would definitely spend at least two days.
    I’m disappointed to hear from you quite a few times that entertainment has gone down since the pandemic.
    I personally am most looking forward to Tokyo Disneyland, but I really want to go to Tokyo DisneySea too and Disneyland Paris is the only international park that even comes close.

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  5 месяцев назад

      As someone who moved to Japan just to live near Tokyo Disney Resort I definitely recommend doing both personally 😂. But Tokyo has a lot to offer and I know some people don’t have the time.
      Disneyland Paris is beautiful but every Disney park has something special! I’ve been incredibly lucky to have been to all of them!

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  5 месяцев назад +1

      Nope. Nothing. It sucks. Your best bet is trying to find stuff they’ve sold in the past online. They’ve done caps and toy vehicles, but even then not much.
      I do have caps and t shirts in my store if you check the description of the video! 😉

    I am going to TDR for the first time this July. I am looking to prioritize one show while I'm there. I first settled on BBB, but it seems to be a shell of its former self? Should I prioritize Club Mouse Beat or another show?

    • @8bitthemepark
      @8bitthemepark  3 месяца назад

      I’d probably say Magical Music World, but unless you’re getting a vacation package there’s not much you can do to ‘prioritise’ a show. Just try the entry request lottery for all of them and cross your fingers that you win something.

    results make no sense if you been to any other disney park in the world.
    People go to disneysea the most because it's unique not to get more of the same thing.
    Bad take unless it's your first time at a disney park.
