HAHAHA, Nice to see Mr DK testing my car. in the wet is a crazy car, and stock tire sucks. I ran with R888 and is much better. Not like most people think, this car is actually good balanced. very good suspension and break, handling is good for a car so big and heavy. BTW, i had experienced spinning wheel all the way to 6th gear.

Great video! I would love to see you drive a stick shift Challenger with either the 5.7 V8 or thr 6.4 V8. I think those cars would offer a much more enjoyable experience to your style of driving while still being heavy American muscle.
The 5.7L is too weak. The 6.4 would be ok only if you have a track pack and better michelin tires.
You and Tsugio-san are brave for taking on the Hellcat in wet weather with most of the electronic assists off. Because we have long highways and relatively few winding roads, cars with extreme horsepower tend to be more popular here in America. The Challenger and Charger are both ending production this year, but I'm glad we got to see your perspective on a car like this. Thanks for the video!

ダッジ・チャレンジャーといえば、中学の頃見た、バニッシングポイントという映画で主人公の駆るクルマとして登場しています。
元々は、レース出場の為にダッジが作った様です。
トランザムと同じく、Teams American Challenge Cup (だったと思います)に出場できるクルマで、ちなみにトランザムは上記のシリーズ名の略です。
アメリカのツーリングカーシリーズは、ほぼショールームストックで出場できる様で、最近のレースでも、エアロパーツひとつ付けていないクルマがレースしている様です。
ちなみに、当時の車名は
ダッジ・チャレンジャー・ラリーで、1/24のプラモデルを作った記憶があります。

for real though, their view on pirelli/michellin are spot on. Tough to warm those pirellis in rain, and lasting longer is no substitute for that glue feel throughout.

Yall should try out the Charger Hellcat Redeye. Its a 4 door sedan and a lot better handling in corners compared to the 2 door Challenger meant for straight line speed

@@driftkingtelevision For certain there is a A12 Roadrunner ( Superbee's cousin ) in Japan I saw a picture of a orange one it was on a lane filled with cherry blossoms.
i am sure he would find a lot of the old trans am cars interesting to drive... but man, just like crazy old japanese cars here, they are very VERY rare.... the roadrunner you speak of, might be the only one in the whole country... and it might look small on the map, but Japan is a pretty big place... 😅

They're being polite but what i feel they really mean to say is that this car is not exactly driver-friendly. For me it seems w/o the nannies It's hard to control, unstable, doesn't inspire confidence for the driver to push very much- if at all - and is the very definition of unusable power/torque. Mind you these are professional drivers, let alone a pedestrian driver behind the wheel ( granted conditions are wet with nannies off but dry conditions werent too different according to DK)
But it's more of a handling machine than you might imagine. I want to taste 100% on a dry road surface.

That isn't a demon, it's really specific and nerdy but you can tell if it's a demon if it has one large hood scoop on the hood, which is the world biggest functional hood scoop on a car.
The car they have is a Dodge challenger Hellcat redeye which is basically the same as a demon but it has two smaller scoops on the hood (same as a super stock) which causes it to use less air as a 2021 demon which decreases its horsepower by 43 believe it or not, the demon also is more tuned up for drag racing while the hellcat has few "track capabilities " but is still a beast on the drag
They weren’t saying it was a demon, they know that they have a hellcat redeye. They talk about how demons/superstocks are meant for the drag strip and that redeyes are more suited for circuit racing
