Thank you for your purchase and the awesome video on the AF50 Bandsaw! We appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the product with everyone. Here's to freeing up your employees' time to work on more important projects! Cheers!
I appreciate the overview. I would have liked to hear how it's been running for you, how much maintenance it's required, how is it holding accuracy, quality of the cuts, etc.
Thanks! We’ll try to do a follow up video in the future now that we’ve had a few months of experience with the saw.
If you need to cut stock size it can handle easily, and it's between paying someone to stand there and babysit a band saw or let this thing work instead... yeah. It's a pretty easy choice. Swap a bar between VMC setups and you can do a lot of cutting in a day.
Definitely, it's saved us a lot of time and hassle so far
How about a video showing us exactly how it works???
Please make more videos about this
Thanks for posting! I'd really like to get one of these at some point.
It's been worth it for us so far! We'll try and keep updates coming about it!
Can you get a carbide blade for this even if it is lol bit wider it would make a big difference
Thanks for sharing! Any idea what the accuracy is like on this saw?
How does it perform on 303 stainless steel, I cut 4.5"RD.
Hi there,
What if you need to cut bars for making rectangular frames? You need to cut the bar to -45 degrees and +45 degrees at the ends, and you probably need 2 different lengths for the width and the heights. Can it even handle this, or the automation works only on the same cut angle (only 90 degrees, or only the same +45 degrees, for example).
It doesn't change the angle of the cut automatically, right?
Thank you for your answer.
i bought one ....and just cut one bar and that's it......the blade gets stuck and still feed keeps going on and breaks blade ..not auto shut off. All money gone in the drain.
tried to return it then they charge 20 percent on restock fee....then the hassles of border tax, crate charge, courier charge etc and then nothing left.
you want to sell it?
What kind of cut tolerance are you seeing using this on small material under 3 inch dia.? is it like +/- .005 or more?
Plus or minus 0.005” on a band saw? No way.
@@Icutmetal I've gotten that, with a cheap saw too. But it's constant tuning every few weeks.
Still going strong?
Never cuts....absolute night mare
Do you have one?
dont buy that
