Jost is an incredible drummer. First heard him playing with Matalex in 1997-98, I think. His playing was equal importent, inspirational for me as any other famous in that time drummers like Weckl, Colaiuta, Portnoy, Bozzio, Gadd etc. Still have somewhere that cassette. And I still love that album. His playig, his sound and whole music on Jazz Grunge. Now, I love his playing, incredible feeling, pocket, sound, his dynamic. One of the most amazing drummer in whole drummers world. Yeah, this world is huge, but he's got place in there for sure.
I can’t imagine that there is any better drumming out in this galaxy. So thight, so smooth, so relaxed and so creative. Outstanding!
