Khwezi you're such a smart fellow, you've done such a great job in breaking down the conversation in sub-headings. Thank you Khwezi
Great topic, please bring a credible scientist to provide clarity on the decisions made she has communicated. She skips through the questions and provides high level answers because she doesn't know or has subjectively interpreted it.
She has said she does not know way to many times, this means she doesn't know much. Please bring someone who's specialized along her.
Why is Princrss a communications staff when she demonstrates excellent understanding of the nuclear field??
I don't disagree with you when you're saying certain individuals or communities don't deserve electricity.
This is coming from a point of privilege on your part.
Basically, you are saying the poor should remain poor and not have an opportunity to elevate themselves. This would be at a deteriment to abuntu.
What people choose to do with their priviledge is upto them. Water, electricty, education, healthcare these are basic needs which i believe shouldn't be accessible at a price to people via private providers nogba it won;t be accessible to many. Point of government is to mitigate and manage the intricacies involved la. There have nots have more power then the haves this would just be a catalyse to disaster.
Can you just appreciate her smartness and her natural beauty. Brain and beauty without Brazilian hair. 🇳🇬🇺🇸🇳🇬🇺🇸
BROO. That's what i been on. She, she, sheshes beautiful man. South African women are beautiful okes.
I'm so glad MacG introduced me to Penuel...this podcast is so much informative
You left the podcast for Penuel lol
@@kapambwekapambwe4131 LOL nah I'm still a chiller brvh
@@kapambwekapambwe4131😂😂😂
Heee ndAAA vhari mini 😊
@@kapambwekapambwe4131who said "left" silly😂
This woman was soothing. I was hoping the interview won't end
Her calmness as she breaks down such a difficult and unfamiliar topic is what caught my attention all the while.
She is breaking it down like she's explaining it to a 5 year old.
She damn beautiful too.
Penuel makes her break it down like we're 5 by asking follow up questions if she hasn't broken it down like we're 5... It's the skill of understanding that even though he might understand what she is saying... He has an audience that might not... It's one of the art of interviewing he has mastered, engaging his audience by understanding it's not about him or how smart or how fast he grasps they're answers but about if the audience listening is doing the same...
When a person explains like that, it means they know what they're talking about.
3 words: beauty, brains, natural. a cause for celebration.
Nuclear queen of Azania well spoken and intelligent we are blessed to have u in our country thanks Mlotshwa for bringing MaMthombeni
This is gonna be fireworkx. I have been waiting for someone who has intimate knowledge about Pelindaba to school us on exactly what is hapenning in that place.
We only need about 400 x Princys to successfully run the Country towards economic prosperity for all.
Merry Xmas to all Christians... and a Happy Family Day to everyone else ❤
Jesus is one of my favourite rolemodels... even though I think he's largely fictional.
Let's use this day to grow and bond, and celebrate life ❤
THIS EPISODE WAS FILMED 2 MONTHS AGO.
Happy Make Believe DAY.
I'm curious as to why you think Jesus is largely fictional when majority of historians (including atheist historians) acknowledge that he existed.
@@finaldaylight3804 That's just MY opinion. I'm not disputing other people's understanding of Jesus.
Jesus is your role model but you don’t believe he existed? How does that work?
Most historians even outside the bible believe Jesus Christ of Nazareth existed…that’s not even a debate.
In fact your well wishes are offensive to us Christians who celebrate Christmas. You wish us well while insulting our leader Jesus Christ calling Him fictional. It’s like wishing Muslims a happy Ramadan while insulting their leader Muhammad. You should have kept your well wishes to yourself.
Princess! Such an honour knowing you and being your colleague in Impact Team 2050! My greatest gratitude to organisers and the host! Absolutely brilliant podcast episode!
Thank you Princess Mthimbeni. Climate has been changing since the Bible times. During the time of King Ahab there was no rain for 3 years. During Noah's time first rain ever but it rained for 40 days and nights. If that is not climate change then I don't know what it is.
In fact the planet warms and cools itself. Its all cycles, they just claiming that we are speeding the rate of the process. Either way it is bound to happen.
And my question is, why are the concerned when about global warming when it is us using the same thing that they are using?
This lady is fascinating, knowledgeable, interesting and gripping.
Pen is massively important
This lady understood the assignment
2013 data: SANRAL owned 41 tollgates. 32 tollgates were privately owned & charged R8 more per average than SANRAL tollgates.
This could be a stupid question but how do tollgates become privately owned? Would that mean that certain roads were built by private companies ?
@@esihlezwide3128 While these toll plazas are operated by private companies, the ownership of the roads themselves remains with the South African government. The private companies are granted concessions to operate the toll roads for a specific period of time, in exchange for a share of the revenue generated from tolls.
I hope this information is helpful!
@@esihlezwide3128good question. As we wait for the answer ...
Thank you Pen, as an aspiring President I benefited a lot!!!
Thanks GodPenuel for bringing this lady as i have done Power Systems engineering I’ve gain a lot from her
You Go Girl‼️ Educate us
.
Great interview, perfect timing of the interview when hopefully people are a bit relaxed and are able to comprehend.
Eish, the innocence I catch from how Princess depicts the people she interacts with in her profession is worrying to say the least.
Pen, please show Princess how people with her type of critical infor and skin color can be manipulated to weponise her against her initial objectives.
She speaks about invitations from North Americans for movies and we know how those people are great contributors of where we find ourselves currently.
I wish I could elaborate further but Eish!!!!
I love this lady's natural hair. And she's not wearing eye-lashes, I hate them.
We two on that on, I detest fakebeauty
I love you Ma Mthombeni❤ you're very informed in your profession and Penuel is just smart and intelligent.
-Power of collaboration with our BRICS partners - Russia, China, India, and Brazil! Leveraging our rich resources like uranium and coal, together we're forging a future of sustainable energy solutions. This dynamic alliance opens doors to groundbreaking projects that not only ensure reliable electricity but also pave the way for extensive job creation. Exciting times ahead as we harness the strength of unity for a brighter, empowered South Africa!
I love how she is explaing things in such a simple clear way.
As black South Africans we need to learn a lot from other successful countries. Princess Mthombeni is just a beginning and she's a brilliant advocate for nuclear energy and its importance for Africa. Naturally, people are afraid of what the don't know. What we heard is that nuclear is DANGEROUS!!! A No go zone!!!
No ways! This lady could be the best educator 😮
I learned and knew about a lot of these things she is talking about since 1998 (PBMR & SMR) my sibling was researching about them here in South Africa.
This is my very 1st time (29 December 2023) watching this channel.
Very informative thank you Princess and Master Pen
For me this is of the top 3 interviews I have watched on this show
Finished listening. She is a diamond, I look forward to her having her own channel or podcast
Who else could feel the intense chemistry between these two 😂 one might say Nuclear Sparks were flying
😄😄😄😄Agree
I love this lady, she very knowledgeable and intelligent.
Malema spoke about nationalization of resources and we went against him. As a youth of this country we need to focus our minds on such topics, we getting ripped off kancane kancane. I'm from Soweto but I moved to Cape Town and there's no load shedding here unless you stay in the townships. I'm at the higher institution of learning where all these technologies are being tested and approved but I've never heard a conversation about such topics amongst our young leaders and students. All we are fighting for is NSFAS and that's the biggest destruction again put in front of the students. And I don't blame anyone for that but these systems that are put in place. Young South Africans are not competitive to the world, they are just influenced by the western culture and that's very worrying because we still going to slave. Lafa elihle kakhulu. 😢😢
We can not nationalize with a disfunctional government.
Even on Christmas Day? The conversations never stop.
Conversations never stop and money never seizes to be made
Here's not christmas
Fantastic guest and conversation.
Very informative. It’s sad that our leaders don’t have the citizens’ best interests at heart.
Or maybe their pushed not to have the citizens best interests at heart.
And what actions and initiatives are the citiclzens making for the betterment of their future and their childrens??? Nothing, just moarning and complain and getting drunk
Very informative and powerful. Africans must unite. Some other European countries abasithandi shame can the current government do what is right for SA please
A great interview, thank you Penuel and ypur guest Princy.
Learnt so much in this interview, thank you to you both 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Beautiful and informative interview. She gives lots of information from her head without reading it. Princess Mthombeni is indeed a genius 🙌🏾👌🏾👌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Well Done Penuel 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I wouldnt have been to facilitate this interview and articulate questions and my opinion so well.
As easy as she makes it sound but from a completely different faculty, with your help I can definitely explain to someone confidently by 80%
This was vital.
Thank You Both ❤
We are rising slowly. Our voice is respected across the world. Let us level up even more.
This platform is a information mine, big ups to Princess Mthombeni
Future Minister of Energy - Princess Mthombeni. Science led Leadership!
Thank you Sis Princess Mthombeni❤❤❤
@Penual the black pen🇿🇦🙌🙌
Informative! Power, we have the right people in the nation.
Brilliant, insightful and necessary conversation 👏🏽 Black excellence defined ke le.
A great show for Christmas gift enlightening us into real matters that directly affects us. People like Princess Mthombeni can play a vital role in government to make this country great. I've learned a lot of things that I never new existed. One the best shows today. Thank you.
you always make me think Penuel! thank you for your platform brother.
I hope people close to the South African and leadership of other African nations could hear this lady.
I agree Penuel, we must make an effort to move Africa forward while we are on this planet.
Great discussion as always 👏🏿👏🏿
What I am doing is getting is that renewable energy doesn't as well as they say and they don't want us to do things our own way. For them, the less we don't develop the better for them because they will come for our Land and Resources.
What a gem. Smart lady 👏🏾💪🏾
This episode was amazing and highly informative. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Shoutout to Pen & Princess 🔥
Came here from Tim Tok. This episode confirmed a lot of things for me. Appreciate you Princy!
enjoyed this, we need a South Africa first mentality for sure.
What a great guest WOW , great show man.
Hola pen thinks for bringing informed people can you also bring Mr Koko and other energy experts do go into the technical process of nuclear
Your guest sounds very well informed. However, most of us still oppose the building of nuclear plants due to the current administrations reputation of looting and plundering. We are all aware of chancellor houses ( ANC) involvement ko Medupi and Kusile...i hope Ms Mthombeni will be available as an advisor come the new administration of this country
thank you
For me this is the most engaging, informative podcast ever. Princess scaled-down everything to the tea. Nuclear should indeed be our go into in generating electricity
The Eiffel Tower is named after Gustave Eiffel, the engineer whose company built the tower from 1887 to 1887.
The French stole money from Haiti to fund the Eiffel Tower.
You’ve got normally interesting and great guests on your podcast but this specific I don’t deem and one for the mere fact that you show romantically interest in your guest so you can’t really engage in your questions as you normally do, get it right please bro
Bro can you please invite ntate IZAK KHOMO African historian
@@jodyv314 Pen and Princy would produce the most gorgeous and intelligent children though chief. I didn't see the romantic interest but if it was there, thats a net positive anyway 😂
Mr Mlotshwa, can you please invite Vuslat Bayoglu to go deeper about Coal and Solution for Loadshedding
I enjoyed watching this episode, stuff got simplified very well, this lady is an all-round genius
All this time we thought nuclear was just too complicated, kante the want us not to understand or they don't even understand it themselves. Thank you Mandisa for in depth info!
My sister let me get into this topic again I think in Africa and South Africa we must begin to love and understand the Power of Manufacturing Renewable Energy can only be cheap for Africa and South Africa only if we fight for Manufacturing that can also be state owned and black people who can also be supported to enter into manufacturing. Africa's development will have to find a way of leap frogging when it comes to technology and engineering. It is very critical for us to fully understand and advocate for our own manufacturing that is the only best way to have affordability in our own development
I can say ..I concur...already knew everything she is talking about. A lot that South africans don't know about energy. And it doesn't seem they want to know. Interesting topics.
i am a newly environmentalist, and this episode is so informative and relatable. very familiar with topics covered. EIA is part of line of work. dankie grootman PENUEL and Sesi Princess for this.
Please invite one of the nuclear engineers to give us more details about nuclear
These are the educational truths we need to hear as a country. Keep the coming my brother @ Penuel
I like her so much, she must get a position in Government, she's a true leader
SA leadership in the past 20 years has been a curse to this country.
But it's what the masses represent and comfortable with.....a leadership is a reflection of the people
Agree with you Panuel it seems as if we living in Country where citizens of the country are not in control of their country and our politicians are controlled on what to do or not do its crazy that there are so many things in the economy which really prove that we are not the owners of the economy we just renting
Nkosazana Mthombeni
Very knowledgeable, Africans are capable and beautiful. So glad I got to watch and finish this episode.
Great conversation to end the year black pen 👌
Great interview, please get a gent named Hugo Kruger... I think your conversation with him would be much more technical and informative. Sis Princess is a definite voice for nuclear but we need a more technical voice with international experience. I think Hugo can provide very valuable info for viewers such as myself who are very interested in the science of everything.
Does this Hugo person work for Necsa (Pelindaba) or in the Nuclear space?
@@On_Da_Rocks_Entertainment He does not work for Necsa but he is a subject matter expert when it comes to nuclear internationally... And he is South African
500 dams in SA are owned by govt.
4000 dams are privately owned. Thus 90% of dams are privately owned.
However, the private dams are responsible for only 10% of land.
you once said Zuma thinks we are dumb when he wanted to opt for Nuclear saying he wanted to eat the money🤦🏿 and your friend Rob Once said if the Nuclear deal was done with america and france was gona be a success. Coz he opted for Russia thats why they through media messed with yiur heads😏
Almighty Pen. Does this mean government have to pay for taking water from these dams ?
@@rayraymakwe3354All offence but lets go and think forward. The past doesn't exist in the now nor the future anyway. STOP HOLDING US back in dead questioning.
And Think.
I understand her more due to have watched the movie Oppenheimer
Informative podcast. Re a leboga thata Ntate Pen 🖊️ e ntsho le Princess Mthombeni. Have a Merry Christmas ✝️☦️
Who is going to fight for us if we don't fight for what is ours
Pen, as always I love your podcast my boet. So I've got a question for Princess, how or what can a regular South African do in order to help advance the nuclear energy project so that we can rectify our energy crisis? Btw this except the idea of voting, because we all know that is long shot, putting national responsibilities in the hands of a select few. To affect help advance the nuclear project now, what can one do?
I love how she's able to intellectually articulate her points.
Wow!, u Mamthombeni is so knowledgeable👌🏾
Panuel, you're doing a fantastic job. Thank you for your great job 🇿🇲 🇺🇸.
Yeses, very knowledgeable lady... I also like the part about min. Gwede.
Beautiful sister indeed. Smart and calm, thank you for your show. I have been watching your many good episodes, but I only subscribed to your channel after watching this one. One love.
I will watch this in January when I'm sober
Thanks!
Ya ne you know a country is in trouble when its 25December and we still discussing politics 😂😂 never thought this could be us, even on twitter people are talking about Julius and MK
Xmas is obsolete. 😂
We're focused 👁️
Any South African who thinks talking politics at this time of the year is somewhat of an anomaly, has become complacent. South Africa was the last country to gain independence in Africa, Apartheid was a nightmare, discussing politics/ political climate was the order of the day, and it should have never stopped; the masses should have remained vigilant because they were sold a false dawn. Vukani, it''s not yet Uhuru.
Ngiyabonga Penuel The Black Pen Our Teacher. This nuclear topic is important.
This was a fire 🔥 Conversation wow 💯✊🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Government doesnt need to become one to provide ; they can have oversight and regulate
Wisdom wisdom,very chilled and precise
😅I like the way you pronounce my clan Name God penuel
Thanks so much 🙏 guys
We have a lot to learn as far as Africa is concerned, to have no direct flights between some African Countries is absurd 😢
THIS CONVERSATION IS UPSETTING... ANC GOVERNMENT DISRESPECTS US, BEING LACKYS OF THE WEST🤬😡😠🤬😠😡🤬
Yeeeeeas please ! Loved this !
Thanks Princes, this was brilliant.
Great interview, very informative. Just to add on NWU Has a campus in mafikeng which is the one with a center for applied radiation and Technology

I think this genius woman should be one of the advisers to our South African Government .
