Super cute, I've made heaps of these with clay and by potting hot glue into water. I have a few in my book nook too, I have a beautiful gnarled branch sitting on my coffee table with the lil mushrooms growing out of it, The fairy lights work well.. Thanku so much 😃
You can replace the batteries in the lights. Or maybe you could make hollow stems and use a light base. Paint the base uncovered by mushrooms black, or use black tape. It would glow very differently as the light source is coming through the base. Or even try using fibre optics💜
This is beautiful. Shocked you didn't add a night butterfly, which is the name my mother gave to moths so I wouldn't be so scared as a child. Sadly I'm still scared, but I do smile fondly for a brief moment amidst the hysteria, lol 💜
Amazing! So so cute! Would it be possible to put a wire in the stem when you roll it out that is then baked with the clay? Then you could use led lights in the mushroom and also include a switch that would switch them on and off
@@DelaCarros have you actually tried it though? I bet it would work if you use 2 wires and space them out and make sure there is clay between them so that even if the insulation melt there will still be no short circuit
@@andreamitchell4758not worth the fuss. It's better to use air dry clay for it or hiding the wires with moss. I made both ways. Polymer clay is expensive in my country so I made some with leftover of my one time buying it. I passed the wires spiraling 🌀 around the mushroom then covered with moss. With air dry clay I just rolled over the wire to make the steam
Yoink! I am so stealing this idea! LOL! Absolutely adorable...love your creativity 👏👏👏🥰
It looks super elegant and a delight to look at. Well done. Thank you for sharing. Loved it!!

I see CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!!!!! I’ve been looking for an idea for a usable art piece for my family… I think this is it!!! Hmmm…
These are so cute! About how many mushrooms do you think you would get out of one pound of clay?

I love "night butterfly". Unfortunately I was and am still afraid of any flying insect. 😂
