As an architect who studied at SL uni (Moratuwa) and practicing overseas, I would like to add a comment. Please note this is my personal experience gathered over the years. When considering Sri Lankan architecture I'm not arguing the quality of the design here. The problem comes with the poor construction detailing and no construction standards in SL. Hate to say this, SL is miles behind on this aspect to the rest of the world (developed countries), unfortunately. For example, is there a standard or even a manufacturing quality for a common brick? As far as I'm aware the answer is 'no'. Hope this simple example makes sense to those who read this to understand the gravity of the situation. It's time to walk away from the traditional construction and open the door to a new era.

After graduation in SL I've worked nearly 8 years. I've migrated as an skilled independent around 20 years ago. I assume now the migration rules have been changed since then and I have no idea about it, sorry. My advice for you is, focus on 3D and rendering softwares if you would like to find a job here. I'm not doing any of this now as a senior architect. Australian job market is very tight and competitive. Your skills only matters to find a job.

I'm not sure what the real environment is going to be like that this house is going to be built in.....these surroundings are non-realistic. Designers should avoid using all the CAD features available at you disposal, as I'm sure if this is going to turn out to be a real build, the chances are that it's going to get built in a rather small plot of land, most probably sandwiched between other properties or may even be amongst a concrete jungle.
Designers must try and mimic as close to the real surrounding as possible so that a client would get a real feel of experiencing 'living' in that property.
This is not a criticism of the actual design of the property, rather the gimmicky beautifying of the property with unusual greenery!!
