One of the best reviewers out there, thought of everything. Channel needs more followers
Very well done video! Lots of down-to-earth explanations that are very helpful, no frills 'n stuff - thank you!
Thank you for your wisdom Dr. Phil
Thanks again for your videos. I have a pair of tx210. Do you think tx212 are enough louder to buy them or really there's an insignifficant difference of power and it's not worth while?
Your reviews for this speaker is great very informative.thanks for the info..and i would like to ask a Q if I buy one of this speaker what spec of mixer i need?GBU
Great video, lots of information. Does the fan go round constantly or only when it is needed?
It runs constantly
Such an underrated channel
Will this be loud enough for say backyard parties? I don’t want to spend the extra money and get the ts315 if I don’t have too, I just want to use these for small gigs, I have a passive system for bigger events but for smaller gigs I’d want to go powered speakers, would these work for those smaller gigs and maybe as monitors for when I use my passive system, or should I spend the extra money and get the 315s? I have to get a pair of either so I want to be sure which would work best for me, what’s your opinion? Thanks in advance
I am a dj who will be using this for house parties of around 100 people. TX215 or is TS310 worth a little extra?
I have a pair of these and for the price you can't beat them, I've used thumps (cost more) and was not impressed with them, they sound much louder than I thought they would and the sound is still controlled . I hurt my back (slip disc ) a few months ago so had to sell my passive set (more powerful but heavier) and rethink my speaker choice and these were a nice surprise !
Old or new thumps?
That means I should get the thumps since you said they're louder
are the cooling fan runing all the time or is it automatic that it stops sometimes?
I need your help guys, for a vocal + electric guitar setup, should I go for a TS or a TX? Does it make a big difference?

How is this in comparison to the ts312 for mobile DJ use?
No inglish lenguaje
Tengo una Alto 15 pulgadas,al encenderla el Abanico de enfriamiento no gira,te pregunto es que se activa automáticamente?
How would you compare the Rockville rpg152k to the alto’s? Thanks
Was that soundcheck with contour (bathtub eq +3b highs/bass) on or off?

Would two of these be enough for a 600 square feet room (for talk)?
heya whats the model number of the bluetooth plugin device
Have you ever thought about mono price stage right 15 inch powered speaker great speaker and only 199 I got them at 149$
Would these be powerful enough for garden projector/outdoor cinema sessions at home? Not a huge garden, i'd say 20m long X 5m wide.
For sure, but you will need an xlr to rca adapter
@@expertisland excellent thanks very much :-)
hi sir im from the philippines, what is use of contour and the ground is it necessary to press both during the sounds
Does two those Alto TX215 work fine with small sport events loudspekers? Need is for speak result list and winners interview and maybe little background music from tape (not live).
Yes.. get a sub.. Heavy base music sucks up most of the power and theres a tendency to raise the volume, a sub allows that
good explanation
How far blue tooth pairing speakers work?
350w 15" wharfdale passive speaker be better the this active speaker
After power so I contact to Jack and output output I touch my output cable there is so running current
Can this be used for live band stage monitors
no problem there, you could also look at the TS312 or even the ts310 for the price as a stage monitor.
I used to use Mackie Thump TH-15A’s before and currently looking at getting these Alto TX215’s. How’s the bass on these Altos? Are they better than the Mackies?
Les mackie thump sont largement puissantes comparé aux alto, la pression sonore et la puissance et les basses sont mieux ! Alto, on entend plutôt des aigu qu'autre chose et clip vite.
is this better (tx215) than the ts310? on 70-100 pax room. Their price is nearly identical in our country. Thanks.
is it for talk or music? for Talk than the TX215 for 100 people easier for the people in the back to hear. For music then you need the TS315, not the TS310.
what subs can be use together with TX215? thanks!
@@bogingbernardo9663 the TS215Sub works great with two TX215
great review thanks!
I like the TX215 but are you still going to have 30 people in the Room?
What should I get for a small rehearsal room? (no drums) A couple of these Vs. one bigger speaker like the JBL Eon?
Lisan De la Cruz a QSC cp 12
Will these speakers be loud enough to play with a drummer?
yes
do you want to use it with guitar processor?
@@Dobrovinskiy I am a drummer wanting to buy my own PA
Would anybody suggest this speaker for a DJ monitor?..
on the Table next to you I would look at the TS308, on the floor on the side of the table you look could look at the TS312
Per karaoke vanno bene?
i just got the tx212 and cant seem to connect my phone through 1/4 TRS.
I bought and tried the 1/4 to 1/8 cable and also bought and tried the 1/4 to 3.5mm adapter and the sound sounds like it's not coming through all the way. (like when you put you put the 3.5mm from your headphones in half way).
Am I doing something wrong? or is my speaker defective?
Maybe its too late and you solved the problem but im going to annswer anyway mate. No matter what you have been told before, I Think the way to go is Phone- Small Mixer-Active Speakers. You need an small mixer to control the sound in a better way also because of the impedance and also because yo get more volume gain. So buy an small mixer , connect the phone with the proper connector to a 1/4 in of the mixer then connect the master out of the mixer to the In of the speakers. you can get some mixer at 80 bucks, I bought mixer that was reviewed here, a pyle with mp3 player, but there are lots of model, just dont buy a mixer behringer xenyx series you will thank me later.
@@VJCarlosAcosta thanks I'll check some out
@@jayem5807 And remember to check the In of your speakers , in active speakers the In is usually XLR , so it's better try to find a mixer With Xlr master out , so you can connect the mixer and the speaker with a regular XLR balance Microphone cable. Thats the reason I told about the pile mixer , because it has XLR out. Most of the mixers at this price range have 1/4 master out, and that sometimes a problem because you will need a 1/4 to XLR adaptor.
You can use any of the dance music I produced on my Chanel if you want
can i use the TX215 together with TS315 as additional speaker? even though they have different watts? I'm using alto ZMX122FX Mixer.. thanks!
Sorry for the late reply but yes you can, just manage your placement of the speaker to keep your sound balanced.
Everyone after watching this video I bought the Alto 212.... but it’s crap. Fan makes noticeable hssss noice, sound is not crisp. It’s like Matty sound. Bulky. Did not like it. Total waste of money
