how much space should you have between the outer quarter and the inner unibody structure? basically the space the quarter window slides up in. I see people say you can move the quarter in and out and you need that space right or the quarter glass will rattle around when its in the up position. I measured mine before tear down I think it was like inch and a quarter. Was just wondering if you had a number you try to hit for good fitment. Thanks, Nick

What is the Classic Headquarters part number for the stiffeners? All the lettering in the videos is backwards for me

Very good info! I used partial quarters on my car but plan on full quarters next build to avoid that long weld seam!

Hello sir, I have watched just about all of your videos of your 68 build before I started my 69 project they were very helpful so thanks for documenting your work. I was wondering if you had any issues with the tail panel on yours? I am getting my quarters set up and I am trying to fir my tail panel (OER) which I am now regretting I am thinking I might try an AMD panel instead. This car was a full tear down like your 68 and I expect things to need a little nudge but this panel really sucks. basically just wanted to get your thoughts on how yours fit and if it gave you a hard time? Thanks, Nick

@@MrFireman164 to you. I saw your build just curious about your experience with your build and the tail panel. I think this oer one is just a bit wonky thinking about just getting an amd one instead.

@@nicholasmascola4094 most all of my Amd parts were really pretty good but I feel like I may have gotten a bit lucky 🍀 the quarters and tail panel really fit together pretty well, my lower cowl panel was the worst part from Amd I had to modify it quite a bit.

@@nicholasmascola4094 also I was told that any part number from AMD that has an X in front of it is outsourced and not from the same Taiwan plant that most of amd’s regular parts are, seems that there are a few plants in Taiwan and one is quite a bit better that the other or others, the “x” parts come from that plant from what I understand 🤷🏻‍♂️
