I guess there's no art Victor couldn't just dominate. He always does the land-based paintings, recently watched him do fancy filigree type stuff on a glass goblet, and here he paints ocean scenes just bursting with tumult and motion. What a talent! I usually don't care for that style of art, but Victor was just that good.

It is typical of the artistic type, a friend of mine also has this talent, doesn't matter whether he is painting Warhammer miniatures, canvas, sculpting or building, he always has the ability to suggest the ideas he wants. Looking up close everything is really crude, but when you step back it always looks amazing, no matter what medium he uses...
Victor's contribution to Time Team is almost never really celebrated, but is invaluable for making the stories come to live for the viewers, but sometimes we see the archaeologists themselves using it as a way to visualize what the remains they find might have looked like.

Same here! Because of how widespread this is, I think it may be a RUclips encoding problem rather than an issue with the original audio. Time Team in particular feels like a keen channel for overall quality, too, which only makes me question the distribution more pointedly.

The only correct way of doing it is to never play music or other distracting noise at the same time as speech. People vary wildly in their sensitivity to such noise, but for some of us it is a severe impediment to understanding what is said. Accessibility should be a priority for documentaries.

From what I can tell after watching about 10 minutes, the "live sound" from the actual filmed activities isn't bad, but the sound for the narration and music added over the top is horrible. Having watched 15-20 episodes in recent weeks, I'm sure it wasn't like that originally. It must be something with the upload messing up a secondary track or something (I know nothing of video or sound or youtube, it's just a guess).

He said hthe surface supplied divers are fed a nitrogen rich mixture from surface tanks. He must have misunderstood, they would be fed an oxygen rich gas called enriched air nitrox. The depth is correct for nitrox, which will extend bottom time and reduce the chance of bends. I spent quite a number of years mixing and using it at similar depths.

The largest ships of the invincible armada were Portuguese ships.
"São Martinho" was the flagship of the "Armada", 48 canons with 3 canon decks, (São Martinho had an overall length of about 180 feet (55 m) with a beam of about 40 feet (12 m). She carried the aforementioned 48 heavy guns on two enclosed gun decks, plus multiple smaller weapons).
It was the capital ship of the Invincible Spanish Armada, led by the Spanish Medina Sedonia , commander of the fleet. Today is known as one of the biggest Spanish galleons on the Spanish history even being Portuguese.
It was the second largest ship in the fleet along with over 16 Portuguese ships like:
The Portuguese ship São João (de Portugal). (50 guns). Vice-flagship (Fleet Almiranta). Known in Spanish as San Juan de Portugal and in English as Saint John of Portugal. Captained by Recalde (captain of this ship later in the expedition).
    São Marcos (33 guns).
    São Filipe (40 guns).
    São Luis (38 guns).
São Mateus (34 guns). Known in Spanish as San Mateo and in English as Saint Matthew.
    Santiago (24 guns).
Florencia (52 guns). The Tuscan-built galleon San Francisco (São Francisco in Portuguese) was appropriated, renamed and integrated within the squadron of Portuguese galleons.[3] Older Portuguese galleons like the São Lucas and the São Rafael had already been withdrawn from service; one was still in the squadron at Lisbon, but was too small and too rotted to accompany the Squadron), and she was substituted by the Florencia.
The Portuguese squad were the backbone Spanish Armada, the biggest galleons, the and main target for the enemy.
The average for Spanish ships as 10 to 30 guns and some times more but in the most cases less, some times Spanish ships had only 1 gun.
There are reports that is frequently to see several British ships attacking a single galleon, like the galleon São Filipe alone against 16 british ships and the São Mateus alone against 10 british ships. The rate of fire of the armada was very good. The São Mateus surrender after the end of the ammunitions.
In the June 31, "San Juan" get hit 300 times and fire 140 shots.
In the August 2, San Martin get hit 50 times and fire 120 shots.
In fact the British are in superior number and they damage the main ships of the armada focusing the fire on the big ones and the little ones are unable to help.
The Portuguese galleons make the Spanish armada be called by "The Invincible Armada" until today.

The weather was the chief Defender of Britain. Who was the Spanish Admiral in charge? Wasn't he a grower of oranges and just wanting to go home? He was a Duke. Can't remember the name.
The wind blowing the Armada around the bottom of Britain was taught everywhere. Some called it quits and got off at Cornwall and added some dramatic darkness to the population, others got smashed up trying to get around Britain, or even Ireland, so they could go home across the top of Scotland - and many were lost there, too.
Is Tony reading a script or that ignorant?
A few arch. students who worked on TT episodes said Tony sat in the car, most of the time and only emerged looking excited and urgent when required. He's an actor, FDS!
I don't think lovely, easy going Mick was impressed. A few times, he introduced him as Tony Robins.

There was a Spanish Duke who was one of the Admirals, I think. I can't recall his name. I think he actually was very happy at his home growing oranges and really just wanted to be there, but because of his importance, was in the Armada.
He always sounded a Spanish version of an English chinless wonder.
No doubt he had a ship dragging around everything he needed to set up a suite just like home, for the months post triumph...
