- Today we go over the best controller settings to use in apex legends season 17 which includes ALC's (advanced look controls) and also the best custom reticle to use. These controller settings will help you improve your accuracy and hopefully bring your apex legends game to a whole new level.

If you use the bumpers ( RB-LB, R2-L2, ZL-ZR I think) on controller you can have jetpack control to hold because it will not require you to let go of the aim stick
bumpers on switch are just L and R. Triggers are ZL and ZR

set your jump and crouch to your stick click and then bind them to your paddles and disable ur stick click so you dont wear down you sticks
Or, even better, set your right and left bumpers to jump and crouch then your left stick to tactical and your left paddle or button to left stick.
Would these controller settings work on Steam Deck well?

I play claw as well w the elite controller, i use the 4 paddles for ABXY,
our jump and crouch are binded the same too
id love to share my settings if u are interested

Just a small note, your open mic record threshold being so high could mean your mic never picks you up on push-to-talk😅

Large deadzone is the best way to prevent stick drift in my experience!
@@SweatbandTV ok thx for the tip, and yesterday I just pulled my first heirloom shards from a pack. I must of gotten really lucky. How rare are heirloom shards?
Just run your dead zone at 3-7% it’ll go away. Just find the sweet spot

protip i use Oxide method where LB is loot interact and RT is weapon swap. then use LT as heal. now u dont take your fingers off anything for most of the fighting. its most intuitive layout ive found after many tests

So I play claw, You want to at least be using button puncher or evolved if you plan on always playing claw. I have custom binds myself with crouch on ls. Just something to note.
Frl I have back paddles and play claw, still button pincher
@@JAY-zq1en Everyone’s got a preference, I just switched to evolved so that I can super glide on pc easier. But button puncher will work just fine too.

@@SweatbandTV lol theirs a lot more to do with settings every little adjustment affects your aim and stuff like the x with shield icon gives you Al the most aim assist and the curser speed also effects it And a lot more we should play sometime
@@kellantothemax35in my experience it's not nearly as consistent as 4-3 linear
@@kellantothemax35with alc you might find perfect sense for close range but mess up long range engagements. or vice versa and you find good long range but not close. it's hard to find the perfect sense for everyone on alc

Use 3 paddles 3rd one under jump set to heals n never let go of sticks world difference
Just switch ping to dpad and heal to RB lol so much easier

@@Anihilationx360 I don’t use it I just use A and B on my paddles, on Fortnite I used it to edit but I just switch my d pad to ping and RB to heals
My problem with more paddles on the elite is the paddles are so close to each other and the way I hold my controller doesn’t work well

Bro said im old so my settings are slow. Then proceeds to show a maxed out yaw speed. My yaw speeds on 180 and it still feels to fast

Your ALC yaw and pitch setting both convert to over 4. I wouldn't call that slow.
