    1. Always carry a fragrance (In Car or Travel Size)
    2. Use your fragrance with an oil diffuser to make room smell nice
    3. When testing fragrances, spray on friends/family to determine silage and projection
    4. Create scented lotion with non-fragrance lotion (High quality lotion preferably)
    5. Store fragrances in a cool dark environment
    6. Spray fragrance on back of neck for scent trail
    You're welcome ;)

Bonus tip: buy decant samplers for your fragrances.
If you know you’ve got a fragrance that doesn’t last forever or some considerable time has passed since your first application it’s nice to have a tiny little travel sample spray to re-apply.
For example, In the summer I usually carry one because my citrusy fragrances are always short lived. And when your out and about for 10-15 hours... yeah it’s going to be gone and needing a 2nd or 3rd re application.
This also ties into the need for having a fragrance in your car.

    Making a fragrance infused moisturizer:
    - Things you need: an empty pump bottle, you can buy these from a local dollar store or somewhere like Target. A moisturizer with no fragrance and little to no alcohols (brands like Cetaphil, Simple, Cere've are good) and your fragrance
    - pump some moisturizer into a bowl, spray as needed and stir it thoroughly
    - scrape it all into a plastic ziplock bag, like the ones people put sandwiches in, try to keep a tiny bit of air in it
    - squeeze the bag to get it all into one spot and snip one of the bottom corners with scissors
    - gently squeeze the moisturizer through the hole into the empty pump bottle bottle, maybe give it another spray or two and shake it
Annnd you should be done...I hope that made sense. Now you have a great scented lotion in a cool looking bottle.
I also suggest using a chemical exfoliant before applying, something like Lactic Acid, which is very gentle and only removes the top layer of dead skin without penetrating too deeply like salicylic acid. A brand called The Ordinary have one very cheap and you should be using a chemical exfoliant anyway. Those harsh, god-awful scrubs can really damage your skin over time.

Way back in the 90's when I was in high school everyone wanted to know why my fragrances had so much silage. I couldn't afford whole bottles of fragrances so i would go to multiple fragrance counters and get MANY of the sample decants they hand out. Then i would pop off the atomizer and POUR the vials into a bottle of BABY OIL, i would then shake up the bottle and let it sit for a couple days. Then i would apply the now scented baby oil on my skin. PRO TIP.

there are these little vials they give you at walmart with lens cleaner when you get a new pair of glasses, I found you can pop the top off and clean it out. So now I put it in both of my cars with my favorite fragrance And the best part is is that it's much smaller then the vials you buy online for perfume, probably about 4ml is what I would say the size of the vial im using is. so its also easy to put into your pocket! It's like it was never there.

For the car I use a mini cologne atomizer. They are the size of a lipstick tube so can put a small amount of your expensive fragrance in there without risking the whole bottle. You spray your fragrance directly into the rubber seal of the mini atomizer, its very easy to transfer.

I keep a decant or sample in my car/bag/locker instead of a bottle, I like all my bottles together at home.
Don’t spray the back of your neck if you’re going outside and the suns out, some fragrances can make your skin more sensitive to light (grapefruit is one note that does this and probably others). I developed skin pigmentation once from doing this so spray the back of your head in this case

    * I use small baskets that do not only contain the parfume but also the matching shower gel, after shave, beard oil, flankers, ... whatever I have of a line. I store those baskets out of the sun in a, cold place. When I go to the bathroom I take the whole basket with me and I have all I need at one place.
    * I don't put the fragrance in a whole bottle of parfume free body moisture, but I use a small bowl in which I put some of the moisture and mix it with the scent right before use. That way I get more flexibility out of a bottle of moisture.
    * I have some different soaps and body butters to ground a fragrance. For example do I love a good cocoa butter (100€/250g) under Creed Viking. A wide field to play on.
    * Have always parfume free deodorant, beard oil and body moisture at hand for fragrances that either come only as parfume without a line or that you own only as parfume.
    * There are some soap cookers around. Sometimes it is useful to go there and ask for a matching soap. At some places they even produce on demand. Look around.
    * Spray a bit under your feet. That does not project unless you work in Japan. But after a long day in shoes at work it is just nice when you take them off.
    * Use clean towels. You may laugh about that, but I had a roommate who used some expensive fragrances but didn't change towels often. That was disgusting and demaged the scent.
    * Do your laundry with parfume free detergent. You don't want your clothing overwrite your valuable fragrances.
    * Do scent free days. There use everything scent free beginning with your soap and shampoo ending with your deodorant. Believe me, even parfume free is not really scent free. It is good for your nose and sometimes for the people around you.

One hack that I want to make more use of is layering. I think this can take your fragrance game to the next level.
Spraying the back of the neck and hydrating (actually keeping my body hydrated) and moisturizing is a staple for me.

I think i need a break from my vanilla fragrances. I used to be able to smell the bourbon vanilla the most out of my The Most Wanted Parfum and it would last 12+ hours, now i mostly smell the ginger and it vanishes in a few hours. I think i might wear some citrus scents or just take a break for a week, which will be difficult but worth getting my ability to smell my fave scents back again.

Fridge is cold and dark but also wet. Parfum want stable and cold temperature like in a wine cooler and no sunlight. But also they dont link moisture. Perfect would be a wine cooler or a special box for Cigars.
But at the end of the day your closest should be fine.

    A couple of tips:
    1. I keep all my Frags in a drawer in the bedside drawers....best way to store Frags, out of sunlight and in a generally cool dry place.
    2. As a man I spray my Frags on my chest and the top of my back....both areas have hair which retains and diffuses perfume slowly. Note: preferably not under arm because the sweat does not mix well with the perfume.

I have no choice but to bring my fragrance of the day with me most days. So yes it stays in the arm rest compartment. My store doesn't open until 7am. I get there at 5am. leave house at 4:20am. So that's almost 3 hours of wasted juice. Actually more because we really don't start getting a lot of customers until 830/9am.

No scent lotion turn in to fragrance lotion. Not a bad idea at all! There are some in packs with some fragrances so why don't make our own one's. My A'man pack had shower gel and roll next to fragrance. Taking a shower with Amen gel, than roll on,than fragrance and it doubles the smell in general. I totally forgotten about that.

One more thing that stoped my 20 year long agony with "how to improve performance". When choosing a frag search the ones with great longevity and silage and THEN search for a smell you like. Yes,You're limited in choices but surely you'll be in beast mode with ever frag you have. Last one was Oud for Greatness. Didn't know the smell at all but performances looked awesome ... so I go out to check. Liked the smell from the first sniff so I Saved money and final got it.

Hack #1: I use a little dab of Vaseline on my wrist and chest and spray fragrance on top it'll last longer
Hack #2: I use scentless soap, deodorant, and detergent so I can get the best out of my cologne it's extreme but ehhh...
Hack #3: I use dryer balls instead of fabric sheets to dry clothes. Spray your fave cologne on the dryer balls and dry your clothes
Hack#4: If you're wearing a suit spray your handkerchief with your fave cologne

Very interesting! I'm curious about how people know about projection and longevity of fragrances they use. Specially if after applying on ourselves we kind of lose part of the perception of it.
Also, how to know if/when to re-apply fragrances? I got into making 10ml decants of lighter fragrances I use so I can re-apply. I often bring them with me to parties/events and re-apply a couple sprays after 5 hours or so of the first use of it. I never know if it is necessary/good or not. Is there any recommendation for me?
