Few decades ago I was living in Los Angeles and was married to a session musician. A lot of famous people would call our home from time to time looking for him (cell phones weren't that big yet 😅). Can never forget hearing the woman say she was Terri Nunn...NORMALLY I would be professional about it but I couldn't help myself, I HAD to tell her how much her voice INSPIRED me to be a singer. As you could imagine, she was so gracious and kind and took the time to chat with me for a minute. One of the most UNDERRATED artists of our time! Girl i was working at your little show you did in san diego a few weeks back, for those insurance people! Lol i was right in front of you. You were awesome!! ... i have no idea where to start. I used to sing professionally when i was younger for years. I did thousands of shows all across the southeast, ive sang in front of 26K people on ESPN at a baseball game, ive opened up for the cast of the andy griffith show at the oak mt. Ampitheatre, ive opened up for dierks bentley, billy ray cyrus. And patty loveless. Had my own album, and had labels wanting to sign me. But at the time my mom and my manager didnt want to sign my life away. I turned 18 and ran off with this guy and quit singing. Biggest mistake of my life, since i had a manager and my mom setting up all my shows i have no idea where to even start. Even my name sounds like someone famous!!! LoI. I wish one of you guys would take me under your wing!! Figured it was worth a shot to ask anyway... I probably wasted all this time writing this. You are amazing btw!!!
We saw Berlin, with Howard Jones and Boy George in PHX last summer, I didn't realize how many hits Berlin has. They were awesome and she's right about Teri Nunn, she sounds the same!
