Nice looking tree. Your thoughts on its design are your creation. Looks good to me. Styling is up to the artist that is working on the tree. To me his or her vision is what counts the most. Great video as always.

Nice video Matt and taking a bit of inspiration from Peter Chan and the late Tony using the vet tape and heavy gage wire!
You put some nice bends into it and those Crickets sure make a racket in the background.

Those crickets are something else. Day and night going at it!!

nice video, it looks so much better after the bends. Good job!
I really want to try that technique as well. I've got a yew that is super hard and unbendable, might try it on that!

I made a lot of faces watching this! Brave! Or insane.... Either way, I like it! That skinny little thing with big hair like Sideshow Bob on the Simpsons. You did the right thing grabbing it by the neck and wringing it like that!!

I do not want to ruin the surprise of what happens. You will see it soon enough! 🤣

You could have probably just bended it with wire alone. I never seen the medical tape used before, pretty interesting concept.

I decided to do the split and bend, because when I tried to test tweak it I felt a lot of resistance. Seemed wirth a shot to me. The medical tape was shown to me by the late Tony's Bonsai. It worked very well for him , so fingers crossed it works for me!
