16. Esempio audio 9: Anakin's Theme
Un tema musicale apparentemente innocente che rappresenta il piccolo Anakin Skywalker: è però l'origine del tema di Darth Vader (Imperial March), che emerge alla fine di questa versione estesa. Видеоклипы
It sounds like the Imperial March because it IS the Imperial March, rewritten by John Williams to sound sweet and innocent, except at the end.
I just realized that too. Never had I thought how ingenious this piece actually is.
Same with the parade celebration theme at the end of TPM in relation to the emperor’s theme
In Episode I, Anakin was in fear.
In Episode II, Anakin was in anger.
In Episode III, Anakin was in hate.
In Episodes IV, V, and VI, Anakin was in suffering.
I like how this theme reflects how Anakin wad before he became Vader. How it reminds us how he used to be
One of the absolute best pieces of Star Wars music. It's perfect.
Agreed
Reminds me of me when I was a child. Such an innocent and young sounding song, ready for an adventure like never before!
Rebel Fleet Trooper where’s your friend?
crippled and depressed by the age of 20
I have mixed feeling for the prequels. But I will say John Williams score is one the highlights.
He carried the prequels single-handedly
Remember watching the end credits, and just hearing the faint breath of vader, sent chills down my spine
It was the beginnings of Vader's Legacy
Don't know if I've ever taken the time to listen to this on its own - I can't believe how beautiful it is.
Beautiful song and a Masterpiece of musical art. The violin sound is Heavenly. I love the emotional change in the song. I like the passion and heart in the song.
The thing that I like about this is when you briefly hear the imperial march theme, its pretty cool its basically giving a hint if this movie came first before A New Hope
Love this. You've got the sweet violin music then near the end the imperial March or darth vader leitmotif starts playing indicating that the character isn't who he seems, he is going to turn out to be the bad guy. The menacing chords and the echoes are the subtle detail that many might not pick up buy is still neat to include
Oh, "That's Amazing Buy More Then!"
Its sad to know the ending of this song with the use of the Imperial March, forshadows what Anakin's future will be. Being a young boy who had dreams of being the most powerful Jedi and being the Chosen One, really puts into place what tragedy unfolds through his life. That piece at the end almost just makes you think back to when we first meet Darth Vader and never knew his story until now.
The prequels were actually some of my favorites, maybe a controversial statement to say 3 was possibly my favorite star wars movie. It's just so nice seeing a backstory come of one of the most known and evil villains in film history. A sad backstory at that, it's honestly depressing to see how desperate anakin was to become a jedi master only to be deceived by the jedi order and lash out, losing everything he loved. This song does a terrific job of bringing out the innocence of young anakin but also foreshadowing what would soon become of him. All in all John Williams cool dude make good music yes
I love ALL 3 of the Prequels! I did, when they were first released and I still do, today. I'd actually say more so now, than back then. Revenge of the Sith is my 1st favorite, followed by Attack of the Clones in 2nd and The Phantom Menace being my 3rd favorite. And I grew up with both the Original Trilogy *AND* the Prequel Trilogy. It's just the Prequel are what STAR WARS is, to me. Nothing will change that.
That ending part that sounded like the fact imperial march.. Hmmm
It's actually a take on the empirical March
John Williams was foreshadowing Anakin's eventual downfall to Darth Vader by layering the Imperial March into this theme :)
the whole song is reminisent of the imperial march, it's just that the end is more obvious about it ::P
We shouldn't forget also that on the official music soundtrack the name of the track is "The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)." Some people don't like to call it Darth Vader's theme but that is the creators' take on it.
Alright, I've listened to the end of this multiple times in a row. Turned my volume up all the way. I can hear a clock ticking in a loud room.
Ain't no vader breathing.
there is breathing on the movie soundtrack itself... at the very end of the credits.
If you listen carefully you can hear parts that sounds like Anakin's betrayal and at the the end the Imperial March
This is a happier and sped up version of what I believe is anakins theme in ep 3 when he is on fire burning
the track when he is burning is called The Immolation Scene.
It also has hints of the Imperial March, which I guess is also considered Vader's theme.
Chocov 123 yes, i hear it as well. Foreshadowing Anakins future, in a playfull way. A very good track
@@siverttungen7124 That's cool. :^)
One of my favourite themes from the new trilogy :) John Williams is absolutely brilliant.
God this song is incredible. Nothing in the prequels was better than just this one song.
AGH I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
This takes me places beyond Star Wars. A profoundly beautiful piece of music. Bravo John!!
Come on people the movies weren't that bad!
+Livy Roe You're just saying that because of the music you just heard.
Nuh uh they're is allot of good scenes in it
Livy Roe Oh yeah like that elongated Podracer scene. Or the fight with the Darth Maul, a character who, has no backstory, but he is beloved by so many because he... looks cool -_-.
its my opinion. I like scenes in it. if you don't that's your opinion.
I agree! The prequels were honestly my favorite and have the best music
Darth Vader Breathing ending credit 2:54
+Henry Petty I always stay through the credits, just to listen to the theater sound system play John Williams. :)
Gorgeous piece, and not used in the movie except in the end credits. Argh. If only this could have been a better movie with a worthy scene for this graceful and soaring track.
I'm pretty sure it's in the movie. Maybe not all of it, but parts of it.
Robert Moran it even includes darth vader's leitmotiv from the imperial march
+Robert Moran It is in the movie; when Anakin is working on his pod racer with Kitster and Qui-Gon is talking to Shmi.
Not many graceful and soaring scenes, unfortunately.
Robert Moran Also in the scene where Anikans mom says that he was "meant to help you"
Omg how has it taken me 20+years of watching these movies religiously to realize the imperial March theme in there?! Fell asleep druring EP1, and woke up to the credits and heard that, and was like “woah, seriously?!” That right there is among the many, MANY reasons I love Star Wars (pre Disney) so dang much
Amazing score!
By far the best track from the prequels.
A beautiful piece, gives me shivers
Awesome Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace Anakin's Theme Video.
2:52 I remember when I was a child at cinema. At end credits, we could hear Darth Vader's breathing just at this moment until the end of the music. I was part of the people who hadn't seen the original trilogy with my sister and my brother but my family had. And I saw their faces: they were afraid. I didn't understood why. My family never told us about the existence of the original trilogy until we saw Episode III. And today, I understood why they were afraid.
John Williams, the guy who composed this, actually did most of the Harry Potter soundtracks as well. He has a certain style that soars above the rest. :D
This movie was as great as his music. Bautifulland powerfull.
Aww, this brings back memories of my childhood. I played flute and loved playing this theme with the middle school band and at home with my music minus one cd. It actually sounds like a theme that could have been used in one of the Harry Potter movies too.
i'm crying😭😭💘
Sammy K ❤❤❤
1:56 am I the only one??
Jeee, I guess those 3 Tusken Raiders that Anakin murdered still have an axe to grind with him here. :/
I hope that Kevin Kiner will made return the music Anakin's theme in Bad Batch and Rebels season 5 and in Ahsoka series too :")
Are you an angel?
this song almost makes me forget about the writing for anakin skywalker
Me gusta este tema musical de muy buen gusto
Probably because John Williams composed the scores for both.
Not that I'm complaining!
I don't care for Anakin that much but I LOVE this song!
Have you watched the clone wars series? Anakin done right.
Sorry, haven't seen it yet. I will someday. Thanks for telling me.
Anakin in the Clone Wars was envisioned as the Han Solo of the three. Witch gave him a likable character. That is how he should have been portrayed in the prequel fims, it would have made Hus fall to the dark side more traumatic. Can you imagine someone as likable, as Han solo going bad! That would be hard to watch.
We already have a Han, we don't need a Han 2.0. And frankly Han shouldn't have been the mentor in TFA.
This theme describes Anakin better than the actors who portrayed him.
2:07
Hermosa cancion
Hint of imperial march in this
2:36 does this part remind ya of something
So much darkness un such a wimpy kid
John Williams' score and Ian McDiarmid's performance as Palpatine are the only bright spots of the prequel trilogy.
+bgates87 Don't forget about Ewan Mcgregor as Obi-Wan
bgates87 There are way more bright spots.
the world building and lore is great and there is actually a lot of depth to the somewhat political plot.
Sorry, but
Across the Stars>Anakin's Theme
Thank you Mr. Williams. R.I.P.
he is still living
You're probably thinking of Robin Williams..
Awful movie, beautiful theme.
+Aidan Todd the prequels are so misunderstood.. they were great cause they added to the universe and were creative and something new not like Episode 7
+Z Libre If they were great movies, they would have done what The Force Awakens did: draw in droves of new fans, and make Star Wars once again beloved in popular culture (distinct from internet butthurt culture).
World-building and risk-taking alone guarantee nothing beyond a good experience for some existing fans.
They did draw in new fans, especially women. I walked out of TPM a bigger star warrior than with the OT and I bought my first SW t-shirt and a Jar Jar Binks doll (which I still have). My friend from Ethiopia finally saw all six films for the first time and loved them. As an artist she especially loves Queen Amidala's gowns.
theladyfromplanetx I've been on both sides of this, since I loved each prequel when it originally came out. I don't have data to make solid claims, only my own experience, as you have yours. For example, I could mention my friend from Taiwan who'd seen one of the prequels when it came out and had no interest in Star Wars, never saw the other movies, but saw TFA and absolutely loved it. I could mention my mom, who never liked Star Wars - she even fell asleep at the theater in 1977 - but was amazed by TFA. But individual cases don't prove anything.
But I've got other examples besides me and my friend. I was a freshman in high school when TPM came out and I overheard many of my female schoolmates talk about the film excitedly. One classmate who'd never seen the OT, saw TPM and absolutely loved it. Another schoolmate squealed for joy when she saw my Jar Jar Binks doll. I'm also on social media a lot, so I meet with other saga fans as well. Some of them liked TFA, some of them hated it.
