Cycling Kyushu Japan

In October, 2023, I took the ferry from Busan to Shimonoseki to ride around Kyushu in southern Japan. It took 15 days to ride 1200 km in a clockwise direction. I wild camped most night and prepared most of my meals. I even packed a $4 telescopic fishing rod from Daiso since I was cycling along the coast.

Hello my friend! I’m glad that you started Cycling again and doing great long adventure trips! It is nice to know that you are Ok. By the videos you look happy and very calm when you are fishing. The globe is round and maybe we meet again in this life. Keep doing whatever makes you happy, because life is just too short!

Hey Sam. Great video! Thanks for sharing. I am planning a bike tour in Japan for 2024. I just turned 60 this year and you are correct the next 20 years will go very quick. I have decided to retire this year. Congrats on being able to retire at 40….ENJOY!
