I hope you accept this comment in the Big-Sisterly way I intend it. I'm also planning a trip to Egypt, In researching what to pack, I'm reminded that this is a Muslim country and dressing somewhat modestly is important. Basically, covering the shoulders and wearing pants and skirts that extrend below the knee. When I observe the basic modesty customs in countries I visit (this can be any country in the world) local people are more helpful and willing to interact with me. They feel that I'm respecting their culture and I really get to know the place I'm visiting at a deeper , more personal level than I would just taking pictures of tourist attractions. Thank you for your video. I hope your trip was fabulous!
Hi! No judgement taken 🙃 I packed shorts and what not but when I was out in highly populated areas, I wore paints and usually a short sleeve shirt. I always had a scarf with me as well just in case! I 100% want to respect any culture I’m in, and have quite a bit of experience with Muslim cultures through my work. Always wanting to make sure I’m not doing anything to offend ✨
I loved Egypt and definitely want to go back! Majority of my time was sent in Cairo, but I want to also explore Alexandria, Luxor, and Hurgada! Definitely go to the new Egyptian museum. Subscribe to my channel if you feel inclined to support a small RUclipsr 😊✨
Would you kindly mention what size luggage you used for your packing? I am traveling for 2 weeks in Egypt? Would a medium 24 inch expandable suitcase be sufficient?
Thanks for watching and commenting! So I went November 2019 and wore mostly the clothes mentioned in my video. When I visited mosques or temples, I made sure to wear pants and cover my shoulders. However I wore a dress to a dinner cruise on the Nile, a tank top at the pyramids, etc. I felt very safe! I was either with a tour guide or with Egyptian people that I know personally. It was an amazing trip and I definitely want to go back!

Carry on tip is a good idea
Glad you found it helpful!

If you roll your clothes, yes! Will you bring a carry on or a backpack as a personal item to fit other items?
@@bigfamilylittlemama Thanks for this tip!! Yes, will bring a carry on duffle bag.💐
You’re super welcome! Enjoy your trip!!
Nice ❤❤❤❤❤ video
Thank you! Egypt was such a neat place to visit.
Any regrets? I’ve heard a lot of the things you’re wearing need more layers or not at all.

I can't believe that all fit into your hand luggage 😳
Roll your clothes!! You can fit so much more that way!
