Why the fuck do you think they would never have done it? Their MacBook have been exclusively USB-C since 2016. iPads are USB-C. Many of their accessories are. I think it's clear that's the road they've been on, and they've actually gone all in on USB-C more than any other company as evidenced by their MacBooks.

I’ve been with Apple since the iPhone 6. I upgrade every couple years. I had a 13 last I’ve always wanted the pro max. No I got the 15 promax in black. It’s awesome watching all these videos. I’m learning more every day. The reason I got the 15 Pro max is because I found an Apple Silicon case mint For about two dollars at the thrift store in mid condition and I wanted something that fit inside it and it was for 15 pro Max, And with the money I saved, I got the zag screen protector. And I already dropped it a couple times outside and inside about 3 foot drops and no damage.
I can't wait to use it for travel content, currently using professional camera / gopro for content, i hope iphone will deliver decent quality for moment when i can't carry my camera

The one annoying thing about action button is you will need to set up and change always these actions in order to use them. Alwayssss. You cannot use it simultaneously yet.

Yes up to 5x on pro max will be digital. Depends if you use 3x or 5x more often for me 3x makes more sense as for portraits you don’t have to move as far back as with 5x for example.

Looks like all that "moon controversy" it´s over after even with a real zoom and machine learning the iPhone can´t beat the S23 Ultra on the zoom quality
Action button literally is the same that galaxy has had since 2016, now you can crop the image but literally is artificial zoom, not changing this year, i want to upgrade but not to this

Apple should have went usb-c back on iphone 11pro when the iPhone went pro, all the updates together on 15pro make it a good upgrade for any smartphone user but for 12 pro an older users it is great upgrade, apple make a 6”pro iPhone (one hand useable model) & 7” pro iPhone with same tech on both only difference being screen an battery size, apple add reverse wireless charging & loss less audio to air pods pro apple watch ultra other iPhone pro & iPad pro devices

hopefully they dont build a proper cooling mechanism in their next phones because in this case the IP 68 rating will be history. Would make more sense to bring cooling to iPad where you then can play games on a way bigger screen with controller support or the onscreen buttons
