So when Robin was talking about not being a transient family, and that they needed to find a home and stick, Kody agreed with her. Did anyone else start screaming at the TV "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID AND HAD IN LAS VEGAS!!!" They had a wonderful set up in Vegas. Everyone lived right there, they were all together. They had amazing homes that their kids could come back to as a home base as they grew up and moved. Then Kody got a wild hair up his butt and they sell their houses and move, now look at everything, no homes on the property, wives leaving, kids that don't come home. If they were still on the cul-de-sac, they could have all been together through the pandemic. They could have worked on the relationships together. Kody is horrible. I think eventually the only wife he will have left is Robin. Then I want to see Meri, Christine, and Jannel have their own show "Life after Kody".
Exactly! They should never have left Las Vegas. They had the perfect setup, or as perfect as it can be outside of Utah while living that lifestyle, and they won't find that anywhere else! They'll never build on Coyote Pass and they need to just sell it and move on. I'm so sick of the same regurgitated crap with them. 🤦🏽♀️
They moved to Flagstaff for Robyn! Her son goes to NAU and she wanted to go with him.
I’ve noticed kody never takes responsibility for his behaviour, he’s always blaming the wives and being unkind name calling.
Let Christine go she has done nothing but moan any way I don’t like Christine and Janelle they are so up there selves the best two are Meri and Robyn if I was you Cody you should just stick with these two x I love this program and can’t weight to watch the start of the new series x

Only one episode in and you can clearly see why Christine took off. She's definitely being treated just like Meri is being treated and she didn't even get catfishes!! Cody sucks.

Christine was a little snarky in this episode I loved it 🤣🤣🤣 and when Cody whistled at her that made me mad I was like heck noooo he didn’t 😲I’m so glad she didn’t settle for less than she deserves!

He’s made it real clear all these years that since Christine’s youngest was conceived he’s going to be physical with Robin. Period.

Thank you. I think he might have had a first time love with Meri and they grew apart through his neglect over time if he continued to add wives. I think he just married Christine and Janelle to increase his wife count but you can tell that at this point in his life it's all about Robin. He may have love for the others but he is in love with Robin.

I think Janelle accepts whatever scraps Kody gives her, then acts like she doesn't needs much, and it is ok with her. Maybe deep down, she has self esteem issues. I hope Christine gets her own show, rebuilds her life, and the show becomes a cultural blueprint for women who want to leave polygamy. She could work with her aunt Krysten. I think that’s some of the reason I saw tension between Jenelle and the other wives in past episodes over the years. Jenelle deserves better and I hope one day she sees that.

Yes! They are all supposed to be 1 big family in a safe bubble from the outsiders. None of them should be the outsiders. Kody used this to his advantage for sure.
I socially distanced from my mom before the vaccine. She had cancer and dementia. I knew it could kill her if she was exposed to covid. My husband and I live together obviously, and work from home since covid started, so we don't expose each other to it...we are always home together. We did not go to thanksgiving or Christmas get-togethers last year with extended family either. Now with the vaccine things are much safer.

I like how Kody had to drive to “Robin’s” house to discuss the ‘move to Utah’ topic! He kisses her hello and the again when he leaves - who the heck is he kidding? He lives there with her!
Then she cries because she’s tired of moving - all while being the instigator of their last, totally unnecessary move!
Did you notice that Kody is quite confident that Robyn & Janelle will always be with him so he gives them the largest lots? He claims the pond lot for himself - not to share, but because it is the most expensive lot …… and if he can get rid of Christine & Mary (which he’s working hard at doing) their lots can easily be joined to his - making the entire property into three equal sized lots, with his the most valuable.
I actually agree with him taking the pond. Meri was going to manipulate herself onto that one, then she could control who swam in it and when. She is famous for these kind of actions. She was leading up to it before.
Kody admitted he put her on the lot with the pond to try to keep her happy. He said he thought that's what she wanted - that was HIM. The other wives didn't like it. So when Meri questioned building all around the trees - legitimate issue - a lot of money, work and the house woukd be always dark, he then hands it over to Robyn. Robyn got pissy the second Meri said I was only asking questions, never said no to the lot. But Meri got Kodys wrath for that, not Robyn and of course it wasn't Kodys fault. And Robyn even spoke like it was Meri being difficult but she's such a Saint she was trying to work it out. How?? How did she work it out? Kody now wants Meri to have a tiny lot while Robyn gets a huge lot, a huge house and the property beside it. And if Kody gets a chunk of what was supposed to be Meris lot, Robyn is legally married so its hers too - whether he puts her name on it or not. So they get 6 acres, Janelle 4 and Meti and Christine 2. Yup that's even. No favoritism and power play there.
Yes, hilarious because he owns that house with Robyn. According to Christine he only showers & dresses there at his & Robyns home - never at Christine’s that was a sore subject for her & remember he bunkered down there so why does he have to drive there lol, he quarantined himself from the other ladies. Robins excuse for not going to Utah was ridiculous. Everyone knows Utah is polygamist central. Plus they are on tv and people know who they are no matter where they live. The things she claims she fears the most can happen anywhere they live. Sobbin’ Robin just wants to get her way.

I think they overestimate how much people actually care about polygamy. There’s so much turmoil in our country right now and people are so divided on so many different issues that polygamy isn’t even a blip on the radar.

Can you imagine if Robyn thinks everything is finally settled with her getting the big property and the majority of Kody's time, but then he decides it's time to take on a younger new wife?

It seems to me that Kody hates polygamy now. He has said many things in the last year or two about how much he dislikes it. I believe he loves Robyn passionately and doesn't want to start another relationship. He is older now and going through all that stuff again probably isn't something he wants to do at this stage in life. I will be very surprised if he gets another wife.
Then again, he is pretty unpredictable at times, and he may think that getting a younger wife will make him feel young again. It would also be incredible for the show ratings. So who knows.

This could very well happen. He needs a quorum, That's 4 wives. So with Christine gone, Kody will probably go find another wife. She will be younger and have children for him. Then Robin will be downgraded just like all the other wives were when she came into the family.
I feel like Jenelle gets NO ATTENTION. Not from Cody, not from the other wives, and certainly not from the show. Glad we're going to be seeing a bit more of her
I'm not really interested in Janelle's story. She seems to like the status quo and has no problem with Kody having his main wife, Robyn, and just accepting robyn's scraps. When Robyn has had enough of Kody, she probably tells him to go visit Janelle so she can have a break.
Janelle has always been a heavy decision maker in the family dynamic, her opinion seems to weigh more than most wives. Kody really takes Robin and Janelle’s opinions over others.

These women have been put down all their lives so they don’t realise that if they worked together things may change. As children they saw how there mothers were treated and are now learning to stick up for themselves.

Living outside Utah Meri, Christine and Janelle have come to see that they really don’t need Cody to survive so now they are putting themselves forward to get what they want for themselves and their children something their Mothers and their siblings never had and Cody is not getting the last say.
Robyn still has small children so she knows she has to have some loyalty to get all she needs but I can see she has even seen that she is taking the slack not Cody for the discontent in the family and is not taking that anymore.
These women are showing (even Meri) how much stronger they need to be for their children’s sake and Kody does not like it.
He kept saying that Janelle was only getting the bigger lot because she has to have the greenhouses that will feed every family.

The story about Christine and Meri getting the two wooded lots is just the show's cover up for the fact that Christine and her kids already left the family for UT or wherever, and Meri probably already left too. Yes. Another thing that bothers me is that Meri tries to act like their relationship is cute and funny - a blip in the road. It's like she's living in a dream world and won't acknowledge how completely he has rejected her. I would like it if she at least would call him out on it when he treats her unfairly.

One thing I noticed is that Cody gave Robin a kiss!!!! None of the other wives got a kiss.
He was pretty strict about Covid exposure- Robin has been on the same page there, the others have continued to travel etc... I assume this was filmed pre vaccine, one of Robin's kids is medically vulnerable so it's understandable they are cautious.
Being in a giant family like that, and yet feeling more lonely than if you're a single parent, is so sad...
To be honest I was appauld that he divorces mary and marries Robyn so the kids can have medical insurance. Then Christine's baby gets sick and Christine is on the hook for the bill and Cody is like MIA. Well this is very humiliating in my opinion. Hopefully Mary, Christine and Jenielle take Cody to the cleaners finanically. What Robyn pulled off is totally unacceptable. Hopefully she will receive her karma soon. How rude can a person be?
I never fully understood that because you can have kids with different women, not be legally married and have your kids on your insurance..I mean my hubby has 2 kids from previous relationships ( he was not married to them ) but all 4 of his kids he paid for insurance..

Cody married robyn so robyn exs husband would not get the kids so she had to have health insurance on her kids so by legal being married to cody she can have government insurance because if he put all his kids on is taxes there he as nothing

I watched this last night and was really upset with Kody and his calling Janelle a princess. She's anything but. Also, was I the only one who thought he talks to Robin ALOT different than his other wives. It was a crock. This is my opinion on what I saw. Another thing, he doesn't need his own house. My grandfather, when I started dating during my teenage years, told me never to whistle at a girl. He went on to tell me that he did it once and only once to his wife (my grandmother) and she got so angry that he never whistle again out of fear. So Cody better be careful at whistling at people.

How is he going to do that? He doesn't work, and neither does Sobbin Robyn. From what I can see Meri, Christine and Janelle are the only ones working. Kody and Robyn are living off the other wives. I thought in this episode that Kody was just mean and nasty to everyone except Princess Robyn. I thought it was really sad that when Kody introduced his wives to the man at the property that Meri commented that every time Kody called her his wife that was a good thing. She was giddy with just that small acknowledgement from him. What a man.

I watched season premiere with my husband, even he was offended when he called them princesses just for having feelings and opinions….he’s just mad cause he can’t completely control how they feel and act, plus he really only wants Robin added to that.

I found it interesting how Janelle said something like when Kodys around for more than a couple days she’s like “don’t you have somewhere to go?” She definitely won’t ever leave because her expectations for marriage are extremely low. Why even say you are married? Are there any standards for marriage in their church or can you just be “spiritually married” and go live separate lives?
I think at this point those 2 are just friends. And she’s good with having him as a friend.
I noticed that, too. I think she sees him as a friend and a financial partner more than a husband and that she’s even happy that he doesn’t crave intimacy with her. I feel if she’d get asked about that she would say something like “Don’t you have Robyn for that sort of stuff?” 🤣

I thought it was hilarious that they showed him driving up Robin’s driveway like he wasn’t already there. Plus Robin was the only one I saw him kiss, unless I missed it.

Yes it's the only one he kissed, but she is thw only one that he has a family relationship with. They will be together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My thing with Robin is she acts like she is innocent but really she is not. They are in Arizona because her kid was going to college there, she uses Kody to make it look like the move was his idea, I believe it was hers. I believe she does have pull on Kody. I believe really the only reason he doesn't have relationships with the other wives is because Robin really doesn't want him too. I believe if Robin wasn't around he would have made up with Meri. I believe the reason she gots the bigger lot is because she wanted that property. Kody is a jerk for allowing her more than the other wives. And she is a Witch for watching it happen and eating it up!!! Robin is not innocent!

It is so funny to me that when this series started, I am sure they all thought they would advocate for how wonderful polygamy is... huge backfire!! They have officially proven that sharing one self centered perm with a man attached to it is a recipe for disaster, and tons of emotional turmoil. Honestly, I think Janelle likes being a single, independent woman who can say she is married and has kids. Meri needs to drop the whole crew and move on, and huge respect for Christine!! Kody abandoning a daughter who needed a very serious surgery was the most repulsive thing I have ever seen.
I hope, when all is said and done, Kody and Robin are left to fend for themselves financially- and I would love to see Robin get pushed aside when he finds some new, young wife...

The problem is so clear to me, it's polygamy. The old saying "you can't please all of the people all of the time" is so true. No man can please more than one wife emotionally. We are all different we all need different things and trying to change yourself for each wife is impossible so each wife has to change for him, he's the king.
I agree but in theory they all would follow his leadership. He isn't a leader & can't provide for these women and I think that's a lot of the problem.
But can't say I really get the poly thing. It's hard enough to agree with 1 person you're whole life, can't imagine signing up for sister wives too.

Did anyone else notice how Kodi greeted Robin with a kiss hello and a kiss goodbye? He also has this softer approach with her. Total favorites!
Kody was “checking everyone’s temperature” on Utah because he does in fact want to move back! He tells Janelle the truth hoping it would persuade her. I noticed he didn’t tell Robyn to he wouldn’t mind moving back to Utah.
What I noticed in this episode was how much Christine had already made up her mind that she was definitely going to move to Utah. If she wasn’t going, she would have cared more about where her lot was going to be. Instead she just ignored Kody throughout this episode and was just acting fake. She can really act too. 😊 I also didn’t believe for one second that the two lots with trees were worth more money. I was a realtor and have worked for real estate developers for years, that was the biggest bunch of baloney coming out of his mouth. I didn’t like that he had lied to them which makes me dislike the man even more. Oh, and what a different person he became when he went to see Robin. He kisses her, smiles at her, calms her down, etc. Christine, you rock! So happy you left him. Janelle has no physical relationship with Kody and that’s fine with her. To me that’s not a marriage and Meri, well, that hasn’t been a marriage since she officially divorced him.
All the women moved from Las Vegas to Arizona for Princess Robyn's son to go to college. Well the kid quit college and wives are stuck with paying for Coyote Pass. Why can't Robyn sacrifice this time and move to Utah.

It's clear that Kody seems to put his wives "out to pasteur" when they don't have kids in the house. Every time there is an empty nester he's out. Even though Christine has younger kids he clearly sees them as old news. This is really sad because in the first few seasons they were a family to admire.

Somehow I always have in the back of my mind that Kody is secretly delighted that he is only staying with Robyn and staying away from the other families. I wonder how Covid sensitive he would be if they told him he had to stay with another wife permanently while Covid was going on and only visit Robyn briefly. I suspect that all of a sudden he would lift the restrictions! It seems that he only cares about Robyn and Robyn’s family. If I was one of his other kids, I would be extremely hurt by his attitude. And yeah! Why did Robyn get that other big lot?! Also, Kody wants the pond because in a previous episode he was afraid Mary would insist on getting the pond and not letting other family members hang out there.

Robyn was on the verge of a full blown temper tantrum. Kody probably has experienced this from her before and has to pander. She calls the shots. The other wives have to get in line or get out. Ultimately, Robyn has the real marriage.
In regards to Robyn's stance,if she wanted them,the kids, to not be judged for who they are and says she doesn't wanna keep moving and blah blah blah,weren't they getting that in Vegas? They all said in the beginning that they loved Vegas because people didn't judge them. And how they went through the whole ordeal of getting the 4 houses side by side and creating a home. I have say that Kody spends an awful lot of time being hated by no less than two of his wives all of the time. When you have four wives and you are disliked that much is stunning. I don't think if he really tried he could improve on those odds.

Meri keeps all her money. She does not share. No one does anymore. The show money is what goes into a pool. Then that is split. Kody share's his money from his computer software company when the woman need it...but I don't know how it all works with them now with his money.

Naturally do Meri & Christine get 1/2 size properties, compared to Sobyn & Janelle....they're hidden off in a corner, no less. They've been officially shunned! Sobyn will always get the largest piece of the pie ( as all favourites will)....and Janelle has always "kept sweet"....no complaints, whining, etc + she's Kody's go to buddy....since he doesn't have any friends (at least locally).
Robyn is so worried about her kids growing up hiding who they are..... why bring children into this weirdo horse crap in the first place. This lifestyle is just unacceptable and hurts the children.

Didn’t they leave Vegas and move to Flagstaff because Robyn’s son was accepted in to college there? Janelle and Her kids didn’t want to move, but they did. They moved for Robyn’s kid.
And they could have said no, but they all eventually agreed. Even if reluctantly. I still wouldn’t want to move every couple of years to a new city. It doesn’t really matter anyway. The family is a mess.
