Although this song was originally written in 1991 by James Hetfield of Metallica as a love song, Jadyn saw another interpretation.
She believes that the lyrics also talk about accepting yourself for who you are. Others may have differing opinions about how you should feel or what you should believe but as long as you stay true to yourself, "Nothing Else Matters" Like many other kids, Jadyn has experienced bullying from time to time and this is her platform to fight against people who aren't accepting of others.

I was in a conversation with a few friends some years ago when one of them asked "What song do you want them to play at your funeral?", the others answered with various songs and they were all debating why this or that song would work when finally they asked me. I just looked at them and said, without hesitation, "Nothing Else Matters" and they all went silent for a few moments until one said "Yeah" and that was the end of that conversation.
It took a 10 year old girl to finally make me not just understand but _feel_ why I chose that song. I am who I am, you are who you are and who cares what anyone else thinks because Nothing Else Matters.

What a voice? There's another video of her with another girl doing Aerosmith's "Dream On" and at first I'm "Yeah, the little girls are trying" by the end of the song I am completely blown away. Awesome, they should do some more songs together.

My daughter introduced me to Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters about 15 years ago. I loved For Whom The Bell Tolls. And Enter Sandman, The Unforgiven, and I didn’t know Nothing Else Matters. At first I thought I don’t know if I like it yet the more I listened to it it grew to be the song of all songs for me and what made the song even moor endearing is that my daughter loves it too. This is the number one song I am having played at my funeral. I know a few people who are singers and I want them to do the beautiful song justice by singing it at my funeral. I was singing along with this beautiful young lady word for word and enjoyed it immensely. 🌟💙😇 By the way the members of the band were asked what the songs meaning is about, it has a beautiful back story to it. They where in a room just chilling one day and one of the bands members said I have some words that came to me that could be used in a song and one of the other members said I am getting words in my head to so they put what they where experiencing on paper, they wrote it down yet they don’t know what they really mean or are about or who they are about. I feel the song is spiritual and Angelic. Metallic definitely is blessed. When I am at a venue and the band playing asked the people in the bar dose anyone have a request I always ask for Metallic”s Nothing Else Matters. 🌹💘💛

Stumbled upon this cover by complete accident and played it 3 times in a row. To be completely fair there are a few moments that raised an eyebrow but I guess it's due to "the voice of your age".
Such a voice at 10 is worth a serious shot and already above most mainstream "artists", by FAR.

This was Jadyns Christmas present (2016) to meanwhile over 5.2 million viewers. It's a pity that 3117 didn't see it as a gift, but it can't be changed. Almost 90000 have seen it as a valuable gift. And that counts much more.

I'm definitely in agreement with previous comments. You're an old soul! Anyone can sing, but you emit crazy emotion into your singing. People who said this needed more bass, drums, etc. NOPE! They don't get it. This touched me on a whole different level. LOVE Metallica and their original version, but your version... just...
