This playoff run is what the 2016 run would have been if the Stars had goaltending and a healthy Tyler Seguin
That goal from kiviranta in Game 7 against Colorado will always be my favorite. That’s goal I always remember, and the goal by Radulov against the knights!

@@Jevus2006 I couldn't watch highlights of the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals until after the Lightning won the cup. It's really hard to see your team almost do the thing, but just fall short.

@@brandonprice1301 Actually we will. This year even shows it we were the last team to start and had 6 injuries all season! Bishop. Benn. Tyler. All of them down for the count. Yet we barely missed the play offs.
All this team did these playoffs was score, so fun to watch and I hope they will be back next season

I hate how bad the Stars’ goal horn and song sounded in their recording. Like hearing the horn go off while you’re waiting in line for a beer.

Second Round: Won the Series 4-3
Third Round: Won the Series 4-1
Stanley Cup Final: Lost the Series 4-2. Same in 2000
had we won game 2 and 4 at least in the cup final, we mightve had a chance to clinch in a game 7. game 2 was definitely winnable and game 4 slipped our grasps. still an amazing series and at least I got to witness the stars play in a Stanley cup for the first time in my life

I really wanted the stars to win that cup but when benn and seguin weren’t scoring in the first two games against Tampa I knew the run was over

As a stars fan, I’m sure everyone including me is very proud of all the progress the team makes everyday. It’s incredible to see after years of not making it to the finals to see them make it to the finish line. It’s almost like a dream come true. Hopefully we win this year!!

That was 100% Cale Makars fault...which actually makes me like it more bc him and heiskanen were picks 3&4 in 2017 but the NHL community is constantly on Cale’s dick and outside of DFW you don’t here much on heiskanen and you could make a case for either one of them being the better player. So I felt just a hint of poetic justice for him not getting the recognition he should when Makar put it in his own net. 😂 but maybe now Miro starts being compared with guys like Makar and Hughes, after that 26pts in 27 playoff games. Hard to ignore those numbers.

If the Stars could have killed off more penalties and scored just a tad bit more on the PP they win the finals. They outscored the Bolts 5 on 5

When the Dallas Stars won the hockey game the Dallas Stars in 2024, in 2025 the Dallas stars player Joe Pavelski is not playing for the Dallas Stars anymore and even the San Jose Sharks now sucks now sucks when the Dallas Stars player Joe Pavelski is not playing anymore he’s gonna go meet his family he is he really miss his family when he played for the Dallas Stars in the San Jose Sharks and the one the Dallas Stars move to the reunion arena stars one 1975 reunion arena. It was built in 1975 in 19 in 1971 Texas stadium was tilted in 1971.

there was no overtime, that game went to a shootout. shootout goals don’t count towards player totals, only count towards shootout stats

@@rae32happy I'll admit for some reason I hated Dallas last year and I think it showed. The reason I said this was Dallas deserved to make the playoffs, but Calgary can't hold a 3-0 lead to save their lives, Colorado was playing on their 3rd string goalie and 2/3 of their roster, and Vegas doesn't know how to kill penalties nor stop taking penalties. Their cup run was respectable but it was similar to Montreal's. Not too much of them outplaying their opponents but rather exposing how bad their opponents are.
Dallas had the fucking cheat to get to the finals it's that plain and simple Tampa Bay destroyed them in the end
