I really do not know what is the significance of this stacking of stones. It has become a customary thing among people in many countries and in many cultures/religions. I only know that 'Scouts and Guides' do it with a purpose in jungles, but not to this extent.
Yes, it is really mesmerizing. But we were told by the tourist guide there - that we should not even touch the water in Rakshas Tal as this water is considered poisonous by locals, despite its close proximity to Lake Manasarovar (about 3.7 kilometers). Perhaps this poisonous nature of this water only protecting the beauty of the lake. On the other hand, the sweetness of the water in Manasarovar is attracting all kinds of living creatures including people take bath and pollute both its water as well as it's surroundings. Every year, volunteers collect few tons of garbage from and around Manasarovar. But there is no such need for Rakshas Tal.
Vivek Ji,Thanks for your comment. There is no typo here. It is 'Rakshas Tal' only. Tal (ताल) here is a representative name for this large waterbody (lake). Perhaps this place can also be called 'Rakshas Stal (स्थल)', but I did not find appropriate references.
Missed sighting kailash and gurla mandhata on opposite sides of the lake viewing each other.one of the most wonderful sight for us !
Love and respect for our ancient father's.
Beautiful. Ravana Kere.
It looks Mystic. A place created by the Planetary Gods. Why did they stack up all of those rocks?

Ravana was very intelligent and powerful.
Ahankari, Dusht, Pathbrhasht bhi tha bandhu.
If he was intelligent, he wouldn't have to experience such a disgusting fate and demise.
Backbenchers in a class are also amongst one of the toppers but still they are infamous cuz they are BACKBENCHERS!!!
Mesmerizing. 🕉
