This is gonna come into play next season as he just hired the guy who didn't fix the much better Seahawks offense all this past season. He hired another fall guy. For all I know you already know this, but you put the blame on Getsy here. It's like this: who thinks that Justin Fields _OR_ Luke Getsy decided it was a Good Idea to stop using those designed QB rushes that made them the #1 offense for a few weeks last season? See? Me neither. Eberflus' ego is such that he can't help but gush about how he meddles in the offense. & if you'll notice both he & Fields talk about Fields getting to know the offense, but neither ever mentions ever speaking to the other. That's more of 'Flus ego. He wants everyone to know who is calling the shots while being able to retain the illusion that the OC makes all the mistakes. Case in point: how many times would Joe Burrow have to stare at instead of throw to an open receiver before the team would take him out & send him for an MRI? Three tops? The Bears made no mention of it for over a year. This is why I believe the unconfirmed rumor that they _order_ Fields to run on those plays instead of throw it. & if that were the OC acting without approval from the HC he'd have been fired the First Time he did it. So it's all 'Flus. He & Poles are giddy at the prospect of creating their own team from the ground up & the only key player left that they haven't got rid of is Fields. They've been sabotaging him except for the brief period that DJ Moore verbally supported him. It's almost as if for a few weeks after that they were afraid that this might turn fan opinion against them & they played their best football, almost beating the Lions twice. Then when they shut all of that down they returned to the same garbage play-calls that failed before. That again, if they weren't 'Flus' play-calls, why wasn't Getsy fired _last_ season?

Brian Johnson picked his worst receiver to run the only route. He then calls a screen play to Goedert with Devonta Smith blocking, what is he dyslexic?
