Not shur how much this will help anyone but I’ve found that using majors mask helps a lot since they won’t attack you and they won’t try to run after there thrown arm, the arm will just slide to him stand slightly in front of him and get the timing right hope this helps anyone
I'm taking notes to simplify the steps for me 1.) South of lookout landing, skeleton boko spawns, try to just get one of them 2.) Hit it once to break it apart 3.) Grab the arm when it's sliding back to the enemy 4.) You now have an invisible copy of the arm, if successful 5.) Warp anywhere, the field is a convenient place to put a warp 6.) When you load in, drop the weapon that you want to dupe, then pick it up 7.) Drop the boko arm, it will now be the duped weapon, pick it up ✨
Theres a guaranteed 2 stal bokos in the gisa craters You can kill one, travel to the nearby shrine, and now you will have an easy to reach stal boko That can be used in night time and day time. Oh and there are 2 ice-likes that can drop rito weapons Pretty helpful when you want a falcon bow or a swallow bow
This games a trip. Not just for finding out these secrets later after the games been out for months but thinking of those who played the hell out of this game trying different things like this.
Also a useful tip: if you're trying to duplicate something like the scimitar of the seven multiple times, fuse it to its duplicate once you have two or more -- then you can duplicate two at a time.
Interesting though I just duplicating the scimitar with that 55 damage horn. It also make the hand fused with it before you drop it wonder it of works with the fused scimitar will look cool

@@meatmanek Yah, not sure if it helps but I also didn't understand initially how to do it. I actually started to think there was an update and the glitch is impossible now. But then I watched the video again. What works for me at least is standing in a similar position in the video: similar angle, between closer to the hand and trying to take it when it slightly past me (also rather have some distance from the monster). With that it doesn't take me too long to do it.
Okay, after a good 20 minutes of failing so hard that I thought they had patched it out of the game, I can confirm this *does* still work. The trick is that the arm has to reach the body before the head does. Otherwise, it will try to attack you, and you won't be able to pick it up while it's doing the grab animation. Its attention should be on the arm, and not you or its head. Definitely a lot harder than the video makes it look.
This was critical for me! I lured my stalboko to a flat area (I used the desert coliseum) so the head would roll further when I threw it away, and keeping the head separated from the body let me get it within a few tries.

@@Draezeth Maybe this is exclusive to emulator, but without Majora's Mask on, the bokoblin prioritizes attacking me rather than assembling its body, even while it's missing an arm. It needs to be assembling itself - and not attacking - in order for the trick to work

okay y'all i crakced the code to get it way easier!!! position yourself between the arm and bokoblin, with your back facing the boko. as it slides forward and gets close, walkijg forward a tiny bit and being in motion as you grab the arm has made this wayyyyyyy easier for me
There's a singular Stalkoblin (and Stalmoblin) that spawns in front of the Desert Coliseum in the Depths. This Stalkoblin doesn't appear to be affected by time of day. I've also managed to get the head stuck in the doorway of the Coliseum to isolate the body and the arm, limiting the risk of accidentally killing it, but also limits the body to the animation of picking up the arm.
Theres a guaranteed 2 stal bokos in the gisa craters You can kill one, travel to the nearby shrine, and now you will have an easy to reach stal boko That can be used in night time and day time. Oh and there are 2 ice-likes that can drop rito weapons Pretty helpful when you want a falcon bow or a swallow bow
This is a great tip! I found the stal, and though I wasn't able to get its head fully stuck, I could kick it a long way since it rolls on the flat floor of the coliseum.
After 50+ (maybe 100+) tries to grab the stupid arm i finally got it to work, i’d still do this than run around for hours after the RG claymore again so big thanks for the detailed step-by-step guide :)
This is awesome all you gotta do is fuse a shield or bow to the weapon you wanna dupe then go to terry town to break apart on both so you get 2 dupes in 1 run. If you have glitched bows from previous versions I'd imagine it will dupe those as well. .I can't confirm tho. However I notice whatever weapon you drop and pick up to dupe the fused item from said weapon is on the stalfos arm before you drop it and pick it up to change it to the duped item. I wonder is there's any other benefits that can be exploited with that but it's nice to know you can at least dupe hylian shields, light scale trident ,great eagle bow (or 5shot) ect again. This dupe remind me of the shock-duping for weapons from 1.1.2 (or it was the durability transfer.) I think it’s the same process, for the most part, but just a stal boko or lizalfo is added in
The setup is much easier if you go to Akkala house of bones (under skull lake) because there are guaranteed stal enemy’s that will always be spawned there so you can just kill all of them except one and repeat the glitch as much as you want because they can spawn at any time in the depths.
May 18, 2024, playing using Ryujinx Emulator. As @Draezeth mentioned below, the trick still works as long as you are (a) wearing at least one piece of stealth equipment (ideally Majora's Mask), and (b) you pick up the hand before the head reattaches to the body. OP neglected to mention part (b), but it is the most essential step and likely why your attempts aren't succeeding.
I’m so glad there’s now a weapon dupe in 1.2.1, I always only managed with the item dupe in the latest patch, but since I just saw this new glitch, I’m gonna try it Edit: I’ve tried this glitch and it works really well, it’s only the timing of grabbing the arm just before it reaches the stalkoblin’s body which does get some being used to before the glitch can be fast to do every time
Looks like you can time it with him actually reaching for the arm. I haven't tried it, but from the video it seems the timing is basically that you both pick it up at the same time. If you managed to get used to reflecting guardian lasers, this timing should be easy. Especially if you can break them and try again.
Note that he forgot to say: Make sure you unequip your weapon before starting the process, or else it most likely will not work. Also never unequip the arm or else it’ll break.
after like like duplication was patched, all my duped lightscale tridents started slowly breaking. It was at when i only had 2 left when I discovered this video. Now thanks to you, I have a full inventory worth of lightscale tridents!!!
This simply does not work for me. I either pick them up too early, or the arm gets caught in an uninterruptible animation where the stalkoblin picks it up, there is NO inbetween. There is no timing that creates an invisible arm. I’ve been legitimately trying this for three hours now, it simply does not work. If the arm gets anywhere near them, it becomes unable to be picked up.
Hey man, i just wanted to let you know that i got this glitch to work after like 10-15 minutes as a first timer and I'm playing on the newest version so it is definitely possible just keep on going i believe in you 😊❤

@@Turtle_Woman9561 yeah of course. There is a weapon/bow/shield duplication glitch that uses the cave mimics in hateno village. It requires a little setup, and several steering sticks, but the nice thing is that once you set it up you can perform the easiest part over and over to duplicate as many weapons/shields as you want. I go farm the Lynnels underground for good gear then run this glitch to duplicate it. Just look up hateno village mimic glitch (although it can work in other places too). There are a bunch of solid videos on it. Just make sure to stock up on steering sticks. Let me know what you think as compared to this one, I could never get the timing right.
Perfect. Still not updating to 1.2.1 but glad to see there is someway to dupe. Also since there is no dlc coming, I doubt there will be anymore updates for the game.
Worked for me just now with 1.2.1. I duplicated an Ice-Breath Lizalfos Horn fused to a Gnarled Long Stick (hope to graduate to Scimitars of the Seven fused to a Molduga Jaws!). I had trouble duplicating when warping back to a medallion close by in Hyrule Field but duping worked like a charm when I warped to Tajikats Shrine by Riverside Stable. Forget how many Stalkoblins I started with for the successful dupe but I made dealing with multiple enemies more manageable by smashing all skulls but one and throwing away all weapons I accidentally picked up while trying to catch the "invisible" arm. I guess I'm far enough along in my game to enjoy being bothered by regular Yiga while fighting the Stalkoblins but being able to use a bow helps to get rid of them if they show up. I built my fire and put my Travel Medallion down near the 3-part rock lying on its side near -0145, -0318, 0023 (perhaps the same you started from, NE of Jiosin Shrine near the chasm), then went SW near the big upright rock near -0197, -0369, 0024 (next to the Jiosin Shrine) and walked SE towards the skull in the distance. Stalkoblins seem guaranteed to show up every time a little bit to the SE beyond that big rock and its smaller companion. I wore the Stealth Suit for Night Speed Up. Since I upgraded that to level 4, I would let myself get hit sometimes as I don't suffer much damage (1/4 heart?) and that causes the agro Stalkoblin to pause long enough before the next hit to charge up Earthwake and blow him up. My Save initially got pushed down 2x by Autosaves but then it remained stable third in line for many resets - amazing!
You know it just came to me, if you dupe a fused weapon with this method you alternately have an item dupe as well. Just take the weapon over to Tarry Town to unfuse the weapon to get the item back. It’ll cost 20 rupees each time but still easier than all this culling and such. Plus you can earn it back if you unfuse high price items.
this means you could effectively get infinite diamonds by fusing a diamond to a weapon, duping it, then splitting the duped fused items and getting the diamonds back

@@DoorMatt4574 However, dazzlefruits' attack range is too wide. This glitch requires at least one Starboko, so I think an ancient blade that can eliminate them one by one would be more useful. Also, ancient blades are easier to increase with the item dupe glitch!
I am on 1.2.0 and use the Gutenbac Like Like still. Works great and all my weapons are always in pristine condition. 5 shot bows, even the Demon King's bow. Dusk bow. Bokoblin bows are 5 shot. I was updated twice, even when I had a No update on. So this will be nice when they update me again. Thank you.
The most consistent method I've found is basically play keep-away with his head. 1.Break him apart 2.Grab his arm and hold. 3.Grab his head and hold. Let his body form again as you walk away to kick it when its almost formed. 4.Then simply drop his arm at a few feet away and position yourself to attempt to grab it at the correct time. 5.Rinse and Repeat till goal is met. Doing this allows you quite a few attempts without having to worry about him attacking you let alone wondering when he'll go for the arm. With this method the arm will always go to him first and his head second.
I am on the latest version. Teleporting didn’t work for me once I got the invisible arm but killing them by throwing a dazzlefruit did. I just dropped the weapon I wanted to dupe, picked it up, and then dropped the skeleton arm (which looked weird in the pause menu BTW) and picked it up and my weapon fully duplicated.
Wow, this is a really clever weapon desync. Could you transfer the durability from the weapon to the boko arm if you damage it? Kinda like durability transfer from BOTW?

This is also a really good way to duplicate items. I tried it with a weapon that had something to attach to it and it gave me the item but not the actual weapon. It’s only gave me the bone with the weapon attached to it.

DID NOT WOR FOR ME AT ALL. I spent literally HOURS trying to replicate this glitch, but every time I’m grabbing the arm when it’s about to be picked up by the Bokoblin, the arm just freezes on the ground for a split second, then the Bokoblin picks it up anyway! And I don’t have anything in my inventory!
You know this is kinda of a ruppe farming glitch to if you attach a diamond to anything when you dupe the weapon you have a second diamond and you can go to that guy who breaks fused items in tarrey town and then you sell it
lol, I'm still able to use the duplication glitch where you jump, shield surf in mid-air, and drop up to 5 items while keeping them in your inventory, I can easily max out my inventory of any single item relatively quickly... money is no object to me.

i did the glitch correctly but i had a weapon with a buff and was fused so i ended up having the arm fused to the material with an attack up plus 10 buff
Does this work in version 1.1.1 or only new versions? I know there are other options available earlier versions but this looks really easy by comparison, If theres easier ones in older versions like mine I could use a guide
this was recorded on 1.1.0. i have a whole playlist for gllitches on your version, including a video for map zuggling which is the best way to duplicate weapons on your version
So I wanted to duplicate a weapon but all my weapon slots were full so I just dropped the stupidest weapon that I had but it was still fairly strong and then it picked it up while I was trying to duplicate the other weapons and hit me with it and I died
I kept getting more than one stalkoblin showing up, so I got impatient and used dazzlefruit to kill all but one stal. You have to get them separated enough that the area of effect of the dazzlefruit, but that's not that hard. (Knock one apart and walk away, the others will follow.)
On one attempt I learned you can kill the stal's body without killing the head if the body is within the aoe and the head isn't -- I had just a head and an arm sitting there doing nothing.
@@meatmanek Just from dealing with them normally, I've seen that three bodies can still reform and attack when one skull is around, so I guess the opposite would make some sense too.
This didn’t work for me after following the steps exactly and trying 4 times. Is there any nuance here I’m missing? Is perfect frame level timing needed when picking up book arm initially?
Funny little thing here but I got my fused fierce deity sword and the boko arm had the silver linel saber horn attached when I dropped the weapon before I dropped the boko thing and it duped. Anyway I now got 2 silver lynel blades wait. THIS CAN DUPE ITEMS. JUST TAKE THE DUPED FUSED WEAPON TO THE GUY AT TARREY TOWN AND IVE DUPPED A SILVER LYNEL SABER HORN. Everyone keep saying that this can dupe while crediting me for the original comment and he might make a video on this
ehh I think I broke Stalkoblin in my game.. I've wandered around in the field 4 straight nights before & after a blood moon and can't get them to spawn. At some point a while ago I took the head of one and threw it down the Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter to scare everyone with it (which was hilarious) but ever since then I have not seen another Stalkoblin spawn :(

If you happen to get 3 to spawn, just pull 2 away from the remaining one and throw a dazzle fruit. That leaves you with just one.

just tried it, worked, got a 152 weapon duped, stealing the silver lynel horn off of it at tarrey town now, the hustle is real

I guess I'm far enough along in my game to enjoy being bothered by regular Yiga while fighting the Stalkoblins but being able to use a bow helps to get rid of them if they show up.
I built my fire and put my Travel Medallion down near the 3-part rock lying on its side near -0145, -0318, 0023 (perhaps the same you started from, NE of Jiosin Shrine near the chasm), then went SW near the big upright rock near -0197, -0369, 0024 (next to the Jiosin Shrine) and walked SE towards the skull in the distance. Stalkoblins seem guaranteed to show up every time a little bit to the SE beyond that big rock and its smaller companion. I wore the Stealth Suit for Night Speed Up. Since I upgraded that to level 4, I would let myself get hit sometimes as I don't suffer much damage (1/4 heart?) and that causes the agro Stalkoblin to pause long enough before the next hit to charge up Earthwake and blow him up. My Save initially got pushed down 2x by Autosaves but then it remained stable third in line for many resets - amazing!
You know it just came to me, if you dupe a fused weapon with this method you alternately have an item dupe as well. Just take the weapon over to Tarry Town to unfuse the weapon to get the item back. It’ll cost 20 rupees each time but still easier than all this culling and such. Plus you can earn it back if you unfuse high price items.
I've been waiting for a new weapon dupe since I accidentally updated 10 1.2.1, TYSM!
this means you could effectively get infinite diamonds by fusing a diamond to a weapon, duping it, then splitting the duped fused items and getting the diamonds back
you are better to dupe diamonds with the jumping drop glitch

Entanglement glitch in 1.2.0 isn't even a duplication glitch it just swaps the weapon

Even if there are 3 or 2 Starbokos, I think it's easier to use the ancient blade to eliminate them (for me).
Tip: dazzlefruits are even more effective for that purpose

However, dazzlefruits' attack range is too wide. This glitch requires at least one Starboko, so I think an ancient blade that can eliminate them one by one would be more useful. Also, ancient blades are easier to increase with the item dupe glitch!

I found out that if you try to dup a fused weapon it'll actually fuse the item to the bone so basically make it Into an item dup
I am on 1.2.0 and use the Gutenbac Like Like still. Works great and all my weapons are always in pristine condition. 5 shot bows, even the Demon King's bow. Dusk bow. Bokoblin bows are 5 shot. I was updated twice, even when I had a No update on. So this will be nice when they update me again. Thank you.

Iirc Go to the Yiga Clan hideout entrance from BOTW from there you'll get a side quest that'll allow you to get that ability
The most consistent method I've found is basically play keep-away with his head.
1.Break him apart
2.Grab his arm and hold.
3.Grab his head and hold. Let his body form again as you walk away to kick it when its almost formed.
4.Then simply drop his arm at a few feet away and position yourself to attempt to grab it at the correct time.
5.Rinse and Repeat till goal is met.
Doing this allows you quite a few attempts without having to worry about him attacking you let alone wondering when he'll go for the arm. With this method the arm will always go to him first and his head second.

I am on the latest version. Teleporting didn’t work for me once I got the invisible arm but killing them by throwing a dazzlefruit did. I just dropped the weapon I wanted to dupe, picked it up, and then dropped the skeleton arm (which looked weird in the pause menu BTW) and picked it up and my weapon fully duplicated.

the pause dupe still works on 1.0.0 the only thing that does not is weapon modding via dropping three items

Wow, this is a really clever weapon desync. Could you transfer the durability from the weapon to the boko arm if you damage it? Kinda like durability transfer from BOTW?

This is also a really good way to duplicate items. I tried it with a weapon that had something to attach to it and it gave me the item but not the actual weapon. It’s only gave me the bone with the weapon attached to it.

DID NOT WOR FOR ME AT ALL. I spent literally HOURS trying to replicate this glitch, but every time I’m grabbing the arm when it’s about to be picked up by the Bokoblin, the arm just freezes on the ground for a split second, then the Bokoblin picks it up anyway! And I don’t have anything in my inventory!
It does work its just hard timing. Took me an hour just to get it again

You know this is kinda of a ruppe farming glitch to if you attach a diamond to anything when you dupe the weapon you have a second diamond and you can go to that guy who breaks fused items in tarrey town and then you sell it
lol, I'm still able to use the duplication glitch where you jump, shield surf in mid-air, and drop up to 5 items while keeping them in your inventory, I can easily max out my inventory of any single item relatively quickly... money is no object to me.

i did the glitch correctly but i had a weapon with a buff and was fused so i ended up having the arm fused to the material with an attack up plus 10 buff

So I wanted to duplicate a weapon but all my weapon slots were full so I just dropped the stupidest weapon that I had but it was still fairly strong and then it picked it up while I was trying to duplicate the other weapons and hit me with it and I died
pro tip= fuse the hylian shield to the weapon before you dupe it.
I kept getting more than one stalkoblin showing up, so I got impatient and used dazzlefruit to kill all but one stal. You have to get them separated enough that the area of effect of the dazzlefruit, but that's not that hard. (Knock one apart and walk away, the others will follow.)
On one attempt I learned you can kill the stal's body without killing the head if the body is within the aoe and the head isn't -- I had just a head and an arm sitting there doing nothing.
@@meatmanek Just from dealing with them normally, I've seen that three bodies can still reform and attack when one skull is around, so I guess the opposite would make some sense too.

Uh, so I duped a Royal Claymore + Silver Lizalfos Horn and when I duped it I got a Bokoblin Arm + Silver Lizalfos Horn.

that was zuggling and it was done by equipping 3 different weapons at the same time. its impossible to fuse 3 effects on to one single weapon

Funny little thing here but I got my fused fierce deity sword and the boko arm had the silver linel saber horn attached when I dropped the weapon before I dropped the boko thing and it duped. Anyway I now got 2 silver lynel blades wait. THIS CAN DUPE ITEMS. JUST TAKE THE DUPED FUSED WEAPON TO THE GUY AT TARREY TOWN AND IVE DUPPED A SILVER LYNEL SABER HORN. Everyone keep saying that this can dupe while crediting me for the original comment and he might make a video on this

ehh I think I broke Stalkoblin in my game.. I've wandered around in the field 4 straight nights before & after a blood moon and can't get them to spawn. At some point a while ago I took the head of one and threw it down the Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter to scare everyone with it (which was hilarious) but ever since then I have not seen another Stalkoblin spawn :(
something weird might have happened. closing the game and restarting it *should* fix it
