I follow a few channels that sometimes do things on Starships. I love seeing these design families, there are some. It would be great to see them all scaled with each other at the end. The Lost Era is also such an interesting and under-explored time for all the major powers.
Scale drawings are not my strong suit, but it is something I would like to do and I have been thinking of a few ways to do it. Now that someone has said it would be cool it’s bumped up a bit on my todo list though.
Nice to see a video analyses on these vessels that does not compare them as if they were unchanging static designs. These ship were undoubtedly upgraded and maintained to the latest tech and standards making the distinction between a galaxy glass launched in 2363 to one in 2085 which would be a completely different animal that has been retrofitted to new standards.
I think the term your looking for is to to review all the "Brahms" based starship designs; shes the one that designed the propulsion layout for the galaxy-style ships, and I think is related to the entire eras design language. Shes a character that comes up a couple times in TNG as well
Yes that would be a good name, but how many casual trek fans will remember her? The galaxy family of starships is more likely to be understood than Brahms for most.
What about ambassador class being the first to be able to hosy families onboard as direct predicessor ship class to galaxy. How did ambassador managed to hang on to support the galaxy class or take up some of the work load from mirend class?
Nebula, Steamrunner, Odyssey, Miranda, Akira, lots of good classes.
This sounds like a great series of videos. Excited to watch!

Oh yea, no doubt. Its a deep cut; might be fun for the super trek fans to have it mentioned? just a thought. Looking forward to the series
Nice
Mirenda class ship you should do a look at different decades and mirenda class upgrades refita and retrofits and new builds?

When was sovergine class designed how long has sovergine class been on the drawing board befor wolf 359?
It was designed following first contact with the borg and put into production in the years prior to the dominion war
Looking forward to the series. The Galaxy class is my favourite bar none.
The D is probably my favorite Enterprise, such a sleek looking ship with an interior I would actually like to live in.
@@starshipreviews definitely. I wish we'd gotten to see her use her 360° arc of fire in the show or Generations. She's always felt like going home.
