Thx guys for another great season of coverage. I was in Mexico for three months and u guys were great entertainment for me helping keep me connected w the Oilers ups and downs. Mostly ups w that monster winning streak! Listening to The Cult under a palapa by the pool was my guilty pleasure the mornings after an Oiler game lol. 😎😎

Broberg was on the ice for either the 1st or 2nd goal against ! I watched it ! I do believe, however; that Broberg is looking better every minute he plays ! I can't wait to see him play for the Oilers every game next season !!! If the Oilers defense gets injuries Broberg should be the 1st man up !!!
Love the thumbnail. Imagine if 37 could start producing like 97? He already skates nearly as well. We’d be unstoppable. As it is, plenty of reasons to keep expectations earthbound.
Loved that 1 game snapshot of how wicked Foegle can be. I hope this game gave him confidence going into the post season that he can absolutely drive not just a line but also drive the game vs among the best in the league.
The oilers gave a lot of players a rest tonight ,,which was good for some of the players from the farm

Nah, the oilers need to free up cap space big time. The space can be used on better players.
I thought we played pretty good after that first 10 minutes…skinner looked awful but Picard looked good when he was in…our young Holloway is really getting better all the time and broberg looked good on the power play!

What a terrible decision by the Oilers coaching staff to put your #1 goaltender in net against the top offense in the league when you sit so many of your starters! Avs lit up skinner while the rest of the Oilers team played like it did not matter. Knoblauch, do you think throwing your starting goaltender into that game and having to pull him after the first period does anything for Skinner's confidence?
I don't think Stu is that fragile.

I have a feeling the Preds will win their first round. After that, survivors will be more in playoff mode, and it will be tougher.
Once more…with some simple changes the final week's 5 games in 7 days woulda been no more, assuming arena availability: Oilers open @ Col. Oct. 11, visit Canucks on Oct. 12. Avs @ LA moved to Oct. 12. Done. Didn't need to look past the first few days of the sked for 3 teams. No need to look far to see how bush-league, amateur and STUPID the schedule makers and approvers were (that includes whoever in the Oilers organization that accepted this crap). 5 in 7 should be against regulations.

I turned the game off after the 4th goal, couldn't take the lack of heart. Not into excuses as that doesn't explain the other recent losses....
And yes, the scheduling department are idiots.
