I've said since Oct 7 that this is the chance the Iraian people need to rise up. I didn't realise the former royal family were still about but if he's a man of his word then we may yet see a return to the Iran of pre-1979. Lovely speech, in the 1970s I had Persian family living next door my house. They had to escape the revolution. and they were the friendliest most beautiful souls that i still remember almost 50 years later. May the Persian people soon find freedom to return to their homeland.
