Air India Express Crisis Explained: Cancellations, Delays Cause Chaos; What's Next For The Airline?

Air India Express is facing turbulence caused by a Mass Bunk. Nearly 300 Employees of the airline called in sick and switched off their phones. On May 7, 90 flights were cancelled. On 8th May around 80 flights were cancelled which is around 40% of the airline’s schedule. On 9th May, 74 flights were also cancelled. What's next for the airline? Pallavi Sharma Explains.

Well done, AI. If need be all old employees have to be fired! Some have been employed since the age of 18, with 0 intent on work and enjoying a government job till death! Being an NRI and in my 50s, it's shameful to hear foriegners talk horror stories, but justified lack of service, about India's national airline! Public-run Air India was a white elephant in the sky. Thankfully, its takeover by TATA was the right thing to do!
But ultimately, TATA has to act fast, clean the rot quickly, and address customers' woes ASAP.
