Hey, it's me :D - developer of the TB. I just wanted to say that hose setup is not that hard, everytime you unequip backpack or remove hose from your inventory it resets to default mode. In order to use it, you have to attach it to backpack (so firstly you click right mouse button) then you can change modes or selected tank (white border) by keybinding (set in controls) Otherwise, very good overview! :)

What im not understanding is the ablilities.. How do they work, and are they craftable/obtainable in survival? Ive been looking everywhere, your video is the only one that pops up when I look up how to add/use abilities. (The animal backpacks. Wolf, dragon, blaze etc..)

Most of the backpacks are only cosmetic, but some have properties like potion effects, or simply drop an egg time to time (the chicken backpack lol) And for the tool slots, if u have a tool in ur hand and press z and scroll, it will change with the following tool in the tool slot.
@@square_xml I know that for forge, you might have to create a “mods” folder in the .minecraft folder. And in that mods folder should just be the jar file of the mod. If nothing else works, it could be a conflict with mod launchers
@@Mackerman I know that but the problem I have is that when I try to implement it to a world it says that it is for a previous version of minecraft I already tried with different versions from 1.16 to 1.12
Hey! i have a question, need to explain: I have mnecraft at 1.65, forge the latest version and this mods also for 1.65, the problem is, in a survival world, the recipe is not working (not showing even though i have the mats) but in a different world (creative) i can see the mod is there, i can craft it and works, am I missing step for survival?
@@Mackerman nvm I found the problem hahaha i did it myself. I put on gamerules to only craft unlocked recipes, so the mods I installed didn't work because that rule blocks the mods, now tested on a world without that rule on and it works. This mods unlock the recipe only after crafting, not by getting the mats
The most up to date version of forge that works with the version of the mod. So if the backpack mod is still 1.16.5, a version forge supporting 1.16.5 will work
I haven't used the gravestone mod but I'd imagine a good scenario would be that the backpack is placed next to or above the gravestone. Unless it conflicts and doesn't drop one or the other
@@Mackerman ok but me and my firend added it to our server and when we press 'b' to open it it doesnt do anything and when we try to place it down with shift + right click it just disappears after
There are a few bugs I've encountered with this. I've had mine accidentally dupe itself and the items in there meaning I couldn't pick it up or put it on because a duplicate was already on me. If thats not the case, try breaking it so it goes into your inventory, press the inventory button to make sure it isn't already on, or reinstall the mod. I'm playing on 1.16.5 right now and haven't encountered that issue, but the mod creator can definitely help you out further
@@Mackerman I figured it out. had to reset the button it was on. previously it was on LeftShift and obviously it was for crouch. Thanks for replying : )
@@Mackerman also on the installation screen for forge it says download server do we both need to do that because i did it and it still doesn’t work on my own world
These mods are 100% safe, it's not saying it has a virus, it's minding you to be cautious about the file type you're downloading because .jar files can be sketchy at times. You're okay. As long as you're downloading it from curseforge, there's nothing to worry about

It says 1.12 but if you go to the files tab on the page, it takes you to the 1.16+ versions

I don't think you're missing any steps, I think there might be a bug happening. Is it not showing up even in JEI?
