As long as we keep coming at the officer and not the system it will never actually get fixed. We have to start fighting for better training. If we sit here and just say fire that officer and he’s gone. That’s not going to solve it he still got there in the first place which it should have never. If you can teach them not to put themselves in that type of situation. We would have a better system.

The third guy was the best. But he missed an opportunity. When the officer says he "visually estimated" the drivers speed, the driver should have said, "Well this car is equipped with a device that trumps your "visual estimate," it's called a speed-o-meter and it was calibrated by the manuf of the vehicle to be w/in 4% of the actual speed by SAE J1226, which all cars sold in the USA comply with. For the 2nd guy, when the cop said he needed the passenger's ID for "officer safety" I nearly bust my gut. You have 2 and later 4 cops, all with guns surrounding one guy sitting in a car with hands in plain view. A person having an ID or not having an ID has nothing to do with the risk an officer faces at a traffic stop. I'm super glad the first guy fought it. Cops are out of control. Terry stops are people outside of a vehicle and they still need articulable(speaking) suspicion of a crime AND have a reasonable belief(based on some evidence) that you are armed and presently dangerous in order to get your information. They are trained to repeatedly ask the same question in a slightly different manner in order to trip you up and give themselves either reasonable, articulable suspicion to detain you, or probable cause to arrest you. It's all about escalation and arrest numbers. Police agencies do not keep track of how many times they arrest someone who has his charges dismissed. They only keep track of arrest numbers. That is the only number important to them. Among other reasons, they need high arrest numbers to justify increased budget demands.

It must not be forgotten that there can be no arrest without due process of law. An
arrest without warrant has never been lawful, except in those cases where the public security requires it; and this has only been recognized in felony, and in breaches of the peace committed in the presence of the officer. Too much boot licking. I hope the sued for the illegal detainment and search. Video 2: The passenger could have ended the BS by asking for their Sgt. Yet, another boot licker for handing over his rights.

To pull people from their private property(vehicle) with no CRIME committed IS a crime. No turn signal was the ONLY reason they stopped him. That should be a quick ticket and he could be on his way. Anything past that is illegal. Cops are so worried about people breaking the law, but the people that break the laws the most are the cops, and they do NOTHING about it 99.99% of the time.
