How to install Barnyard PC game - Tutorial (Windows 10)

- Step-by-step:
1. Double click on part 1 ISO file to mount part 1 (Windows 10). You need Daemon Tools or something similar for previous versions of Windows.
2. Double click setup.exe.
3. Click Next, Yes, Next, OK, Next, Next.
4. When prompted to insert disk 2, eject disk 1 with a right click in this PC on the virtual disk and clicking Eject.
5. Go to Disk 2 ISO and double click to mount.
6. Right click on taskbar, and then disk management.
7. Right click on virtual drive and change the the drive letter to the same drive letter that the previous disk was mounted with.
8. Switch back to setup and press OK.
9. Press Yes, OK, No and finally Finish.
10. Eject disk 2.
11. Change resolution to the highest that your monitor can run at. If your monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080 then 1280x1024 is the max.

error 1311 source file not found. How to fix this?
How far did you come? That kind of error usually pops up if the (virtual) disc is not inserted. Make sure it is seen as a CD/DVD drive in Windows Explorer and make sure that when ejecting disc 1 and mounting disc 2 they both have the same drive letter. Also see the instructions in the video description that are slightly more detailed.

Try playing the video at a slower speed to see all of the steps. Also you may not have seen the steps in the description that I wrote exactly for people who can't understand the steps in the video.

I'm pretty sure you can change the language when installing the game. Or maybe in the games' menu.

How to change resolution of game
By using Barnyard setup from the start menu. There's also a 16:9 fix to run at wide-screen resolutions included in my download (if I remember correctly).
How to change resolution to something different than the hard-coded ones:
How I got Barnyard working in 1440p resolution step-by-step:
1. First, make sure that the folder is not read only. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Blue Tongue Entertainment then right click on the Barnyard folder , click on "Properties" and uncheck the "Read only" box.
2. Download a hex editor (for example HxD).
3. Open the downloaded editor and import (Ctrl+O) Barnyard.exe file.
4. Press Ctrl+F, go to the "Hex-values" tab and type (or paste) 446800004844 in the text field.
Replace the 00004844 value with:
00803B44 for 5:4 screens
00806A44 for 25:16 screens
00007044 for 16:10 screens
00007A44 for 15:9 screens
00408544 for 16:9 screens
5. Press Ctrl+F again and type 282003
6. Mark the 2003 value and type the width of your resolution in the Int16 field.
7. Mark 5802 value on Offset (h) 00262E00 and type the height of your resolution in the Int16 field.
8. Search for 920A863FC3
Replace the 920A863FC3 value with:
D6837E3F for 5:4 screens
9195973F for 25:16 screens
1DB99C3F for 16:10 screens
EE8E9F3F for 15:9 screens
6210A83F for 16:9 screens
9. Save the changes and import Setup.exe file ("C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Blue Tongue Entertainment\Barnyard\Setup\Setup.exe")
10. Search for 200300005802.
11. Like in the Barnyard.exe file, type your resolution dimensions in the Int16 field for the 2003 and 5802 values.
12. Save the changes and start Setup.exe, select the resolution you just inserted.
13. Now start the game
Note: some resolutions may not be supported.
