- Wizards and Warriors new animated fantasy documentary lore video will talk about the world of First Law created by the Joe Abercrombie, which we consider our favorite dark fantasy universe. In the first episode we give an introduction to this universe, detailing the earliest epoch of this world’s history, the era of the demon dominance and how Euz Devil-Blood fought them along his sons Juvens, Kanedias, Bedesh and Glustrod, about the rise of the old Empire at Aulcus, about the creation of the House of the Maker in Adua, about Glustrod's rebellion and more ( • OUR FAVORITE DARK FANT... . The second episode will deal with the aftermath of Glustrod's death and will show how the remaining Magi became enemies once again, leading to a war.

I have really been waiting a long time to see him humbled and crushed once and for all. I know he sort of was a bit by Shenkt in conspiracy with Glokta
I like how Bayaz' base of operations in the Northern Library, actually looks like Morgoth's fortress of Angband in the Silmarillion

First off, incredible video!
However I firmly believe Bayaz's cunning starts upon waiting for Kanedias to return and find him with Tolomei. He planned to infirurate Kanedias through his daughter and bait him into murdering Juvens. Giving him the power and trust of his "fellow" maji to go and lay him low. We know these events are told by Bayaz, and know his cunning and trickery. He got exactly what he wanted in the end, the power of Kanedia in his house and artifacts. Along with both him and Juvens off the board left him in a very powerful position to create The Union and become the puppet master in the shadows.
Absolutely incredible series, I love how the details are between the lines. I do appreciate how you told this from the set in stone info, almost as if Bayaz has reached out and pulled strings in our realm.
Amazing, and I love that in a tongue-and-cheek way, the "official" history here is what gained traction. But still, takes what Bayaz says at face-value. I think it is pretty clear that Bayaz himself murdered Juvens at 6:30. I think that should have been mentioned too.
This book series is a must for any GoT and LoTR fans

I just finished and have never wanted to immediately re-read so badly. Enjoy! And by the dead, try the bloody audiobook! It's insane and has ruined any other audiobooks for me. Gloktas lisp, lord marshal Varuz "jab, jab Captian! Jab jab!" I heard months ago still rings clearly in my ears. Try it

Just like the Cosmere and Wheel of Time, I knew next to nothing about The First Law. Wizards and Warriors really helps giving cover of fantasy worlds for first time viewers.

Sorry but this shit sucks. No layers - at least presented here the characters, at least not of any interest. After this video, I'm left with feeling like this is just rushed hot garbage vomited on paper. I could care less who lives or does, don't give a shit about the principle characters and honestly hope this channel doesn't waste another second on satisfying the 5 neck beards from reddit that jerk off to this dilapidated weak garbage. Focus on lore that is actually substantial. This feels like my 10 yr olds book report. And don't come at me saying "but if you only read it...... hur.....hur". I would never waste my time with this and I love reading fantasy. This weak cannon is like the twilight series for people born yesterday. Sorry but it's just another modern attempt and results in trash.

One of the only series where the twist genuinely surprised me. Started off very classic fantasy, then grew very dark and real. Read the three booke over a four day span really enjoyed them.

Not sure if anime is outside of your wheelhouse but have you considered covering a series like Mobile Suit Gundam (UC)? I'd love to see you cover the one year war, the battle of loum or odessa, the gryps conflict, etc, in your informative and entertaining style.
I'm always recommending anime/manga as another source for W&W lore videos, along with books, films, TV series and video games, etc.
Mobile Suit Gundam (Universal Century) would be my top pick for sci-fi anime lore videos. It would also introduce mecha warfare as a focus for the setting.
I'm not sure if it's outside of W&W wheelhouse, but they've already crossed different media. In the end, I think it comes down to personal choice and what is popular (to gain more views). The rest is time for research and presentation.

I never truly realized bayaz’s true character until after completing the first three book of the series. I thought him one of the heroes…now I know better.
Thanks for the recommendation. I am listening to the audiobook of the blade itself. I am enjoying it very much. I oddly enjoy glockta most of all. Logan and jazel are cool too. Bayaz is intriguing as I watched these 2 videos but know nothing else. Currently at the fencing area with jazel vs Gorst. Sorry if I butchered the names I am on audiobook so don't know the proper spellings.

I just got a grill to look like the Dogman. Anyway, the the House of the Maker’s exterior is depicted all wrong. It’s basically a huge box that would likely appear about 80 stories tall and three blocks long. Besides some parapets and two impossibly skinny bridges that connect it to an Ivy League looking college.

Have ya'll consider doing the Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh (DM, GX, 5Ds) universes? There is some lore on them as well.
An interesting choice but they would have to differentiate between manga, anime and video game versions. Not to mention the dub changes made for Yu-Gi-Oh.
