I'm just throwing this out there. James wants us to give the album another chance....if they play the album with this energy live I'll give it that chance. Every song is killer live from that album but we have only heard maybe 3 or 4 songs live
I say remaster the album or better yet just make the whole album live. Definitely has more feel love. Back then they were sad and way too depressed and distraught. Now they happier than ever.
Tonight's show was so tight! James sounded great and Lars seemed to be on point. Kirk was amazing as always. Rob was great too. Wish I could've been there!
Listen I love that Album. And this song kicks ass and even more with the drum change and Rob’s bass. This beat is sick yo 🔥🔥🔥🔥. That little bridge. The 20th anniversary of St. Anger and Rob’s 20th. Best way to do it Justice and celebrate Rob, is to remaster the album different drums, guitars and the new Bass player. That album will be loved. The lyrics in that album really cut. So good.
How amazing would it be if they surprised us all and re recorded St.Anger with a normal snare, a few more guitar harmonies, and solos as a bonus special edition with the new album.
Well this album was recorded when James was coming out of some problem's. Now with his divorce coming I'm sure this album is calling for some mind at ease. I've always loved St. anger. They got the same hate from Load and look at it now. !!METALLICA!!
The only things that sucked about St Anger was the snare and the absolute horrible compression on the CD when it first came out. Both SA and DM sounded like complete and utter balls on CD when they were released. Hence why neither album ever really gained popularity. There's been some rebound thanks to cleaner sounding MP3, though.
what another chance are you talking about James ? The album was ranked n1 and the " 4 first best albums" none of them was ranked n1 in their releases for me the 4 first albums are incredibly overrated and the rest underrated
St. Anger didn't get a chance because St. Anger was reeking garbage in a stinking unwashed old trash can left open during a heavy rainstorm on a disgustingly hot summer day.

Watch the live DVD that came with the album. Them playing the album live sounded 10x's better than the studio album! 💀🖤💀

All Within My Hands, Shoot Mr Again, Sweet Amber, and Unnamed Feeling are my faves from that Album.

it sounds great with normal drums lol. This is one of James' most deeply written songs but it gets lost in a bad composition
