- Until 1878 Benimaclet was an independent town from the city of Valencia. Nowadays
Benimaclet is already part of the city.
Benimaclet is located in the northern part of the city, bordering on Alboraia.
The origin of Benimaclet is Arabic, his name is derived from بني مخلد (banī Maḫlad) which means "sons of Majlad".
In this video we are going to take a walk and visit this beautiful neighborhood of Valencia.
We will start near the metro stop and we will enter the old part.

Not the prettiest area of Valencia, but I think the apartment prices there are much lower than in the city center. That's what makes the area interesting for me. Thanks for the insights @Habi Tours
