    Hey man, as a fellow swimmer. I’m really proud of your performance, but don’t put any extra pressure on yourself. Keep having fun and who knows what will happen

    Dude, i was at the Friday and saturday sessions of this meet, and it was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. I met lily king, Andrew miller, Leah smith, and a lot of other olympians, and seeing all of the greats swim was awesome. I know Lilly was really pissed at her dq, but she more than made up for it during the 200. I know that you didnt perform as well as you wanted to on the 100, but it was still amazing. You just have to remind yourself that just bc you didnt win, doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. You’re still good enough to be a pro swimmer. You’re still good enough to make it to the meet. You were still good enough to make the a final, and even though you didnt do as well as you hoped, you still beat out dozens of other people. I loved watching everyone swim and i cant wait to see what kind of times you throw down at Olympic trials. Keep up the amazing work man!

      Why did lily get dq?

    • @brennangifford3972
      @brennangifford3972 5 месяцев назад

      @@iloveconchas. downwards dolphin kick. USA swimming has gotten bad about giving dq’s for that lately.

    Great to see you back on top. If you picked up a second against the leaders on the back half that shows you can probably even it out and still drop another .5 seconds in a perfectly timed race.

    As a tennis player, I will just say that sometimes you are hitting insane balls so easy that you just think and it goes where you want.
    Sometimes you are trying really hard and you are basically getting the ball in. I guess the goal is even when you feel bad to do well.
    I know you are a professional and you know more than me, but don’t stress too much; it looks like you did great!
