He is so adorable. My daughter has an e-collar for her dog. It’s a Breton named Eiga. When she sees a duck or a pheasant, of she goes, and she can’t find her way back..The e-collar works so well on her. 🐾🐾❤️❤️

Using an e-collar on Bacon Bits has made a huge difference! Because of it we are able to take him to public places, and around other dogs. He is adopted, and was found dumped in the countryside when he was 5 months old. He occasionally shows behaviors that he was probably abused, so this allows us to control the situation when he is triggered.

We tried the Halo collar and it was a bust. Tried for months working with tech support. It needs a good wifi signal and it just wouldn't work. The collar would send a signal long after the dog had left the mapped out perimeter. I had high hopes but we ended up putting up a fence. We have an acre lot and now the back half is fenced in. Peace of mind to keep him safe and off the streets. This collar looks great for what you are using it for.

Great job!! I have 2 dogs and a puppy, and although I've never used one, after watching this, I would definitely consider it.

We had never used them before we took Bacon Bits to training, but after learning how to use them safely and not create a negative experience for our dog, we are believers. Definitely use low settings, and reward successful steps with treats, every step of the way.

We used the e-collar as well. It’s a great safety measure that allows freedoms in a wide variety of situations. We “zapped” ourselves to test the feel of it before putting it on the dog. Chose the setting from that. After a time or two the zap setting wont even be necessary! We trained with the beep sound rather than the vibrate and it worked fantastic. Bacon Bits is so handsome… made me tear right up to see him- we had Jewel, she was a 3 yr old Rotty when we adopted her and she lived to 18 years… Was wondering if Fanny is going to get an ecollar too! They are a fantastic tool!!
    God Bless you all…. ❤

We tested it on ourselves too. This one starts out stronger than our other one, so we turned it all the way down and gradually went up until we saw he noticed it.
We are just starting to train Fannie. She is adorable and loving, but needs to learn manners on leash and around other people. She is great around dogs and cats though!
Wow! 18 years old for a rottie is pretty old! Bacon Bits is a rottie/border collie mix. Very smart, very strong willed, but thankfully he has the border collie size!

@@VickiesCountryHome thanks for being a responsible pet parent… so many folks have big hearts for their fur babies but skip the discipline aspect … that’s so important!!

    The zap IS a shock.

If it is set correctly, it should be just noticeable. You do not want to cause your dog pain.

Actually Bacon Bits was adopted, not trained until 2 1/2. Our older dog Buster went through the training at 13 years old so that we could take him on group outings. He wasn’t as challenging, but learned to respond to the collar and commands. Again, having a good trainer with more willful dogs is very helpful.

@@lindalawson300 Bacon Bits is a Rottweiler/Border Collie mix. VERY smart, and VERY stubborn! We never had to go through dog training before, but with him we were out of our league. So we found a good trainer, and I believe it was 5 lessons, including going to busy shopping centers with lots of distractions, he did great! We still take him on group walks with the trainer and lots of other dogs at very busy locations. Buster too. They love it, they do great, and we have peace of mind about their safety and behavior.
