I've had very good success with Panthers for almost 40 years! For brighter days, yellow with black dots and silver spinner. Darker days, black body, purple dots and gold spinner. I use the lightest line that I dare, due to the boulders, to be able to cast a little farther. I cast upstream and cross river some. There's just something about the cross stream retrieve, that makes the spinner flutter just right, and BANG!! Y'all keep on safely fishin' and enjoying the outdoors!
Panther Martin’s are very hard to beat, an excellent lure. My other favourite is the Jake’s spin-a-lure. Also in black, but all the other colours work too
Nice fish im from east tn float the rivers alot. Good looking fish buddy. I always try wet my hands little those trout are really sensitive to bacteria when the slime is rubbed off. Nice fish i love it when the water is little dirty.

I can build a half dozen panther Martin for the price of one from Walmart, BPS, Cabela's or anywhere else for that matter. You lose a panther Martin from Walmart you're out $4.00 to $6.00 bucks i lose one of mine I'm out .79 cents. Lol.

The only other spinner that comes close to the panther martin is the rooster tail. I found i got more strikes with the black,green, gold bladed ones

Panthers are deadly but they no longer make their deadliest spinner aanymore. Haven't for over 20 years.
