Here's my cultural experience so far, one week in Brazil. Use headphones for best experience.
1) The elevator says 3, then question mark after a while, then T. Smells like Java
2) I have to slide down the ramp handrail while holding my coffee cup with my mouth. Not sure how disabled people do that with a wheelchair though...
3) Understand traffic lights timings. They are nothing like in Europe.
4) Everyone's very serious about sports in Rio.
5) Copacabana beach is long enough to listen to Eminem's Rap God twice over.
6) Recommended time for moderate 15 kph wind and acceptable traffic: 10 minutes
