My dog, Buddy, just died unexpectedly last Sunday. Had him for over 11 years, since he was 5 months old. I adopted him from our animal shelter, when I was 11 years old. He was the only pet I’ve had for half my life. I always told Buddy, “You’re a good boy. You’re a sweet boy. You’re a smart boy. You’re my Buddy.” ❤️ take care of your sweet girl, time goes by so fast. I know I’ll love seeing Ruby grow.
I feel for you. My sweet little cat, Polly had to go to cat heaven, 2 months ago. Only 5, with kidney failure. My heart is broken, as I am sure yours is. These wonderful furry friends complete our lives and when they are gone, our hearts seem so empty. Remember the great happiness your faithful companion gave you.
dreamflight6000 it’s not your fault. You’re doing everything right with training Ruby! She’ll grow up well. We crate trained Buddy to sleep in his crate at night. We would also put him in his crate if we were leaving or if we had visitors (he was severely antisocial and anxious and barked at anyone that wasn’t me or my Mom).
@@sndjjxxjxjdjxjxjxj8744 yeah if u have the energy for it alot of them get even more crazy then they are showing in this vid, like my 12 week old f1 goldendoodle is coocoo
I swear bully sticks have saved our life so far! Our pup is 4 1/2 months old and if we didn't have the bully sticks he'd probably chew our hands, and furniture, off!!
Ruby is as smart as she is cute! We get. Our new golden doodle in about 4 weeks and can ,hardly wait.Iwas amazed that on day one you had her sitting, staying ,down and come! Would agree a long training leash would help,in getting her to come. If she can resist the treats when you command “leave it” as she did, you should have good luck getting her to come back. One thing we did when our labs would run off is NEVER CHASE THEM! It’s better to hide behind a tree or building and they can’t resist looking for you. Chasing them becomes a game. Keep posting we love it❤️
We've had dogs for more than 30 years. Got our F1B goldendoodle Chester in Dec 2018 at age 10 weeks. Honestly he is the best dog we've ever had, and we've had many GREAT dogs over the years. They are a wonderful breed. Chester's dad is 100% standard poodle and his mom is 50/50 standard poodle and golden retriever. He is a big chicken, afraid of many things. Total momma's boy. And a VERY aggressive chewer. The toys made for aggressive chewers don't even come close to lasting more than a few days.
:0 Same Though not in November My mum and I are saving up cash Just in case when we go to buy or adopt one :D Were saving up 600 Its also gud so I can prove I have the gud idea to get the dog-
Amy you are doing an awesome job with her! One tip for teaching her to heal is you want to always have her on your left side. If you hold the treat at your belly button then when she comes in and sits she will be looking up at you and the you can reward. Then moving into a moving heal you want to keep her head up and looking at you as you move. She is such a good puppy and really seems to pick up on things fast. Im loving the puppy videos, but of course im partial ha!
I can see more of my Madison’s behaviors in Ruby on this video. Jumping, digging chewing...gives me hope that my little Tasmanian Devil will calm down. 😳 Ruby is adorable.
I have an almost 2 year old Goldendoodle and will be getting a puppy in October. I’m also a stay at home mom that will be training the puppy. I love that you show a realistic approach to training mingled in with your daily life!!
we are getting a Goldendoodle on October 18th and I have ben watching your videos and I enjoy them. I have owned dogs all my life … poodles and Labradors, have trained privately as well as for the community and I do like your style :)
I just love ruby 😍. We have a 9 almost 10 week old red golden doodle, he is just a hair lighter than her. All of his toes are white 😆. We’re having issues with the leash 😒, he just wants to chew on it. We don’t have a fenced in yard but we’re on 1 1/2 acres so he runs around a good bit without one. So when I walk him down the cul de sac he just eats the stupid leash. We started swim lessons in our pool this past weekend and he looked like a wet rat swimming, it was pretty amusing!
We have 6 month old male Goldendoodle - Archie. He’s red with a white stripe that goes from his nose up to his head. He was the star in his Puppy class at 4 months old. At 5 months he blew us off, ignoring all the commands that he still knows. We love him so much, but he can be challenging and is in a barking stage now 🦮🐾🐾🥰
I'm hoping to get another dog, as my labradoodle had to be put down. I was thinking of getting a Golden doodle because my friends Golden retriever was more laid back than the lab. So you show is just what I need. Thank you and God bless you.
I am getting a Goldendoodle two of them actually, and I’ve been doing my research and watching all the videos on RUclips but how did I miss this one! It awesome
This video has given me so much confidence 😀❤️...as I will shortly getting my puppy. You show so much patience with your puppy. Ruby is so very beautiful ❤️⭐️⭐️
I have two puppies. One is four months and one is 15 months. I want to see more training with kibble. My small puppy is not well mannered with food. She eats it so fast.
Try it and see how it goes! Your puppies might be motivated by kibble. It works for us because that's all I've used from day 1. She eats slowly out of my hand and learns at the same time. 🙂
Ruby is a beautiful puppy who you obviously love very much. I'm new to your channel so am wondering why she was tethered without access to her water bowl?
Ruby must have a twin!! Piper is now 14 wks and they have the same color. Thanks for the video. Piper jumps and does well on leash but off leash recall is a challenge. I have 1.2 acres in so. Calif. Today I took her for a in town walk and of course wants to greet everyone by jumping on them and submissive peeing!!!
We live in Northeast Nebraska and we’re picking up our Goldendoodle next week at Heartland Classics in Lyons Nebraska. Is that where you got Ruby, by chance?
Love the video!! How did you go about crate training through the night? We have a mini goldendoodle and she sleeps beside our bed on the floor in her crate & is fine and can sleep all night BUT she will cry A LOT if she's left alone in her crate! :( Even if we just leave the room for a couple minutes...
Does Ruby still need to be let out to go to the bathroom at nighttime? I pick up my 7 week old golden doodle on Thursday and curious what to expect in the coming months.
She looks so little. We have a 12 week old Golden doodle and he is 21lbs and so big! The vet actually looked at me funny and ask how big his parents are. How big is she?
8:30 telling your dog your command multiple times they end up processing to think that they can do your command when you say it the 3,4,or fifth time the correct thing to to is say your command one time in which this case is “leave it “ so basically if she doesn’t leave it the first time you said it freeze until they do your command ,why ? Because again like I said they will process oh I can do her command the 3,4 or 5th time , ALL THOUGH GREAT TRAINING
I’m kinda coveting all that space she has to roam! We live in the city and I only wish my guy had space to run and explore. Dog parks here are pretty dangerous! I feel like a bad mama but even at 14 months I can’t fully trust him in another room yet. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I don’t know how old she is now but when she gets her adult teeth and eventually starts guzzling bully sticks quickly and breaking the bank, try the thick braided ones or the bully strips by Red Barn. Hooves are great too but they STINK! 👃 We have some deer antlers but he’s never really gotten super into them. Not trying to be bossy, just what I learned along the way. I miss the days when bully sticks lasted a long time. She seems like an angel but if you ever need her to sit still while you’re grooming what I found is this suction cup plate thing on Amazon that you spread peanut butter on and freeze. Sounds weird I know. The only downside is then his beard gets sticky.
